  1. Ok so many of my previous "Z" delay's have more to do w/ money, honey-doo's and my being really picky of which weather I actually get out into the garage in but this one, for real yall, is going to set me back. I put in for a xfer to another division where I will be helping implement SAP at the last division of BHI to get it. I am excited at the opportunity and I know I'll learn lots about the system. We'll start here locally, in Tulsa/Claremore, and then finnish of the Western Hem first. Not sure how many locations in South Am there are but at least a half dozen. Then Europe and possibly China. I am not really sure where all the district locations are and how much I will be involved. My 'expertice' is mainly w/ in the Manufactuing modules and most of the districts will focus on opperations type stuff. It will be 3 weeks road, 1 week home w/ a decent bonus program. So the good news? Per Diem and the bonuses will help me save some money while working on the project so that when it's over, I should have a good lump sum to get er runnning. Bad news is the above mentioned travel schedule and the project length, which is probably till the end of '07. I am really excited about getting the job though, I've been really struggling here in my current position to stay busy and challenged. SO, I guess I'll start cleaning up the garage so my wife can get her car in there and we'll just see how it goes
  2. Personally, I were to buy a CF hood, it would still have to be from Mr. Coffee. Not only to support a 'local' hybridz'er but from what I've seen of his work, it's going to be top notch. Sure you might get a better "deal" on ebay but what happens when that hood starts falling apart?
  3. Nice! You didn't put that 'bullet hole' in it did you? Love those bikes!
  4. Hey coolmesser, welcom to the board! Good to see another Oklahomboy on the site.... I forgot what brand I have, picked them up at a garage sale, but they match the exahust port shape on the heads and have no clearance problems.
  5. could be a good hybrid mill for someone!
  6. it's a toughy for sure, BUT if the lotus is THAT clean w/ low miles, then I'd say get it, rewire it, stick the GN in it w/ a porsche ta and your good right? I think it depends on how CLEAN it really is. My wife would KILL me if I brought another dismantled car home so I wouldn't get to enjoy it any way...
  7. You need a CARBIDE endmill or a tap burning machine. Take it to a machine shop and let them work on it. W/ a tap burner it'll be easy but depending on where you are, the local machine shop may not have one. Good luck. What size is the tap? Tiny I am guessing...
  8. Glad you're ok, hope everything works out for you.
  9. Man I feel like I don't deserve my car when I see work like that! Smooth...
  10. yeah, he's build a probably a half a dozen of these type of car. Cool but I woun'd drive it.
  11. What the f are you on dude???? That is a LOT of creativity...
  12. Yeah, he just PURGES good info, it's crazy!!!
  13. 2nd post does not match, wierd. Not only could he not spell but what does this mean... "Anybody get bolt a engine together and maybe get 3000 miles out of it." I am glad we have the real deal right here. Thanks Grumpy!
  14. Cool to actually see "the car". Doesn't look bad at all although the flake throws some odd visual effects. Your front bumper corner looks creased but it isn't. So where do you get enough contact paper to do this? Very well done, I am impressed by the effort.
  15. Rolled mine about 10 weeks ago, much pain and swelling for the fist 6. better now but still a bit sore. Can do just about any activities on it w/ a brace on.
  16. People want the best for their kids so it's not suprising to see that this is happening. People don't take in to consideration how this will completly affect the kids. I am imagining a class room full of kids that bring their imaginations full force to school and acting however it is they want, which is fine as a child but in society, you can't wear yesterday's underwear as a mask...
