  1. I want to say I've see a picture of the car floating around here, becaue i specifically remember seeing what looked to be a 4 door car w/ only two doors and a bunch of stuf grafted on, it was all primer.
  2. Burt needs to HANG IT UP. Who the hell casted him as...BOSS HOGG? WTF??? Can't wait for the movie though
  3. when you find them and you get a discount for large qty's see about a group buy. I think I'd rather have those than my re-kinked hardlines to the braided...
  4. Would be a cool little truck to have, I need a truck...hmmm... Will see what it goes for.
  5. NAPA also has a good selection of high grade bolts...
  6. Just my .02 but I have used a bandsaw for my smaller pc's. Depending on how big your bandsaw is you could probably do some decent size parts, but you must have the right blade for the type of material you are cutting. SS is going to need a very high tpi count and depending on how thick a material you are cutting it can go slow. With a good layout you can do just about anything though.
  7. My favorite Z stock color! Good find!
  8. good luck papa, that sux! I guess if you are going to live on a hill, live at the top! There are 2 early z's here in town (tulsa, OK) for sale for under 1000 bucks. I bet if you gave the guy 500 he'd cave. Been for sale for a long time. I know it's far and you'd have to trailer them home but they are cheap! Edit: Tim lived at the top and I guess his Z didn't survive that either, there is no hope, live on a plain...
  9. I can't believe people actually THINK this way!!! Are there worms in the brain? Math is math, math, doesn't change, math is a constant. Now if you want to teach cultural math as a seperate class for people trying to understand why other cultures ended up not working out due to their lack of understanding of math, ok, but don't push it on everyone and cheat young minds out of the analytical skills math brings. I don't use much math in my day job but I am positive that taking math throuh Calc has given me a thought process that I wouldn't have otherwise.
  10. I was expecting to see some Bikini action w/ your header title.... ZX's are cool too! I don't have one but they can look clean! Good luck!
  11. look at the rest of the site, maybe we'll get lucky and someone will post pics of him running his scion into his buddies new Carrera GT!
  12. he'll probably gift wrap some boulder or TPpoll and you won't have to worry about it anymore...
  13. Yeah, the more i have thought about it I dunno what I would shift w/ it. I took it apart and it looks pretty worn, so I might not even work, although it looks rebuildable. Maybe I'll get a 74 Bronco i've been wanting and stick it on there.
  14. Good find...i am jealous
  15. What do you have planned for Oct? Mike? I know we're going to be up that way for about a week or so, dunno if DC is going to be part of the trip or not yet but I'd love to stop by and meet you, see all your toys!
  16. One button 3 possitions OD/DIR/LOW has 6position diagram on it w/ Rev @ the top left and the I think low was just below it, the rest had dual numbers for the different gears. Been thinking about it, it won't really lend itself to smooth shifting, so I think I'll save it for a truck project, been wanting an early bronco or something for the bad weather driving.
  17. I like it, but is it me or is there somethign missing? Good wheel selection will really complete the car. Good job!
  18. Sweet truck! I am interesed in hearing about how well that bed works, how much of an option is that???
  19. No one like's the idea? I'll have to post pics, it's not as bad as you might think...
  20. I say you take your pretty parts and stick them on the book shelf in the living room...just my .02
  21. How bout some Guar? Remember them? They are on tour again, maybe they'd do it live? That should scare just about anything out of em...
  22. Going through my dads place I came across a 1974 Eaton shift knob from one of his old dumptrucks, I am guessing is was his Mack but anyways... I am going to use it as my shift knob and I was wondering if there was any thing I could use the air switch for? Just thought I would post this up to see what you keen guy's could come up with. It looks pretty cool, not TOO truck like and the switch is at the thumb, not in the front like most are today. Basically I like the way it looks, and I am incorporating it to remember my dad. ( I noticed it was made in 1974 so it matches the 260 ) I Would like to make the switch functional but not sure for what or how. There are 4 lines that run up underneath w/ compression type fittings, so pretty simple to hook up, I'll have to look at what they are labled... I'll try to get some pics up if there is lot's of feedback. I couln'd find any picks online but I'll get something together... Thanks for hearing me out! Later
  23. Just looks sort of random and not well thought out. Weird...
