  1. wow dude, that sucks, I would be so pissed i hope you find them. I dont get why they would steal your car, how would they make money off of it. I doubt they would be able to even sell any parts off of it without someone in the Z community knowing about it.

  3. Okay, so the fluids may have mixed a little bit, but do you guys think the gasket itself will be fine?
  4. I loosened them all at once. then torqued the back on to spec. so do yous think my gasket is bad now? or is it fine? I did a comp test and my numbers are perfect still.
  5. YES IT WAS AMBIENT TEMP, I bought the head gasket from msa(just like the 25.00 one) and it leaked from both sides of the block just all over though, a bunch of drips that made a small puddle under the car. I think I loosened the bolts too much:(

  7. I built up a block and ive put a few hundred miles on it so i was going to loosen and re torque the head bolts. well when I loosened the head bolts some coolant leaked. Not to much but this definitetely concerned me. Ive never re torqued the head bolts before so I dont know if this is normal but it doesnt seem like it should be. Do I have the replace the head gasket again now?
  8. Well just for the knowledge in case anyone else wants to know for future reference the swastika rims do clear the 4x4 s12+8 VENTED calipers. They fit great!

  10. Does anyone know off hand if the swastika rims will clear my toyota 4x4 s12+8 VENTED calipers. I just did the 240sx rear swap so my 14in rims don't fit and I need some temporary rims until I can afford the rims I want. I just need to know if the swastika rims will clear the front so I can atleast get my car back on the road.
  11. My bet is you still dont have the wiring right, but it could be the coil or even more maybe the ignitor.

  13. For daily driver if you got money to burn I would go with a 740il also. Actually I would get an 850ci because that car is on its own level of awesome and IMO is one of the coolest cars BMW has ever made.
  14. I assume that you are talking about the black wire with a white stripe(not in the picture), that wire goes the 12v switched.

  16. Has to be, no way he went through all the effort of taking a picture then photoshop to ask what a main bearing is. lol and look at his wording.
  17. I just did a rear disk conversion so I have all my left over brake hardware now, you can go ahead and take the drum off by any method possible then give it a beating if you want. Im not looking to make anything off of them so just let me know if you need any parts.
  18. Doing an l28et swap is very easy, I had no prior mechanic skill and I did it by myself(physically), with the info on this site you could do a turbo swap no problem.
  19. It all depends on you, what car do you want. For me it would be an easy decision, id get the 240z because it doesn't need to be smogged. If there wasn't that factor, it would be a tough decision for me to make because I like what the s130 can look like when modified(I hate it stock).
  20. okay im going to tell you where they go from left to right as shown in your picture. Top Row, first wire I grounded, the next wire over goes to the coil, the next wire over goes to 12v START, and the next wire(green) I grounded. BOTTOM ROW, I grounded the first one and the next three you dont use.
