  1. I just got this stuff in the mail from MM, The rotors seen in the picture(which are two completely different rotors) are supposed to be for the 300zx vented rotors(front). I removed the wheel to my car(78 280z) to see if they would fit and neither of them did. Also the spacers didn't either! Im sure they didn't do this on purpose because I know alot of people have bought from them and I haven't heard anything but good but wow, I was really hoping I would get to install everything this weekend. Does anyone have a picture of what the rotors are supposed to look like in the front? The one thing that concerns me is the bigger nicer and newer looking rotor in the picture that didnt fit also lined up perfectly with the spacer, did i get the wrong kit plus some other random rotor?

  3. That's is absolutely correct, the main reason for doing the rear swap for me is i cant stand the look of drum brakes!
  4. yes i still have drums in the rear. I bought my stuff from Modern-Motorsports. I got the vented four piston stuff for the front and 240sx stuff for the rear.
  5. Have you tried cleaning all of you electrical connections? Maybe your water temp sensor is bad?

  7. And i forgot to add, my brakes are all stock right now with the exception of SS lines, my brake conversion on all four corners doesn't come in till tomorrow.
  8. When i upgraded to the 15/16 mc I didn't notice a difference at all in my pedal movement.

  10. Those controllers are the best. I think its awesome he wants an n64, Its the only system i play. I personally own three. Get these games to start. super smash bros, mario cart, tony hawk pro skater, zelda ocarina of time, and mario party.
  11. Maybe your fuel filter is clogged up, or your fuel pump is out. I would put the new fuel pump in and see if it fixes the problem.

  14. hmmm, well i have actually only seen one 240z at a junk yard. it had some sweet bumpers on it. But last year i was finding them(280z's) all over, lately i haven't seen any s30's anywhere. I do see at least one 280zx every time i go to the Hayward pick n pull though. Other than im not finding anything either.
  15. So ive been around to some pick n pull's and i dont really like them or their prices excluding Hayward. Ive been to some other junk yards but they weren't very big which means they never really had any Nissan's. What are some junk yards you guys would recommend that are fairly close to the bay area, no more than an hour away that have good prices?

  17. If you think it could be a worn ring you could try putting some oil in the cylinder and then do a comp test to see if it reads different. Sounds like the valves though.
  18. If you want a DD just leave the l28e in, if you have to have a carbed l26 then start searching, if you want to go l28et then start searching. I guess what im trying to say is start searching.
  19. cops are pricks, in the area I live, I have only run into two cops that are respectful and reasonable. The rest of them are assholes. one cop gave me a ticket for driving on the right side of the road...not lying, I still have the ticket to prove it.
  20. Well if you didn't already drain the tranny fluid, do that. If i remember correctly i believe you do have to drop the exhaust as much you can(just unbolt the hangers). Then disconnect the drive shaft from the diff and slid it off. From there, just unbolt the crossmember. Oh and remove the botls from the bell housing first. hope this helps
  21. well i actually just now ordered the vented setup and 240sx setup from MM, so ill let you know how it is when i get it on.
  22. Well if you insist on four piston in the rear, I know there is a guy on craigslist who does that swap. I dont know his name or email though. You cant use an E-brake cable with his setup though, i say just go 240sx...
  23. For anyone interested, or for future reference. I changed the ECU with one of my many extra's and the p[problem seems to have gone away.
  24. I just bought a used turbo, it has hardly any shaft play, and it spins freely. But when I spun it i hear a clicking noise, its not like obnoxiously loud but i noticed it. The last two turbo i had didn't make any noise. should i be concerned about this. Its a stock T3
