  1. What color is it? Its hard to tell from the pics if it is silver or purple.
  2. I would put oil in the tubes, Its for cooling purposes. The o-ring shouldn't matter though.

  9. wow, fail. 2nd hit on google: 135 specs and I think many people have said in this thread "don't buy cheap" If you wanna save money on this endevor buy a decent welder and then go to harbor freight and get the clamps, gloves and what ever other welding accessories you need, but don't cheap out on the welder.
  10. I just completed my first repair job with this today, I am pretty impressed with it, I was used to a 220v miller unit I learned on at my highschool, and the hobart produced welds 98% of the quality the miller unit did. Overall I couldn't be happier with my purchase, I bought this specifically for repairing the z and it works perfectly. Everything I have read in my reasearch says that flux cored wire is not really acceptable for body repair, Also Tig isn't either. It produces cleaner welds but it is too slow and heats the metal too much and causes warpage. PS, it came with a broken hatch latch, and I called hobart/miller customer service and they had a replacement part to my door in 3 days. Very easy to deal with.
  11. Its a pretty good list, looks like Hagerty picked it out though.
  12. When I try and look at an attachment, I get a "[#10171] You do not have permission to view this attachment. "
  13. Very nice work, I'm looking at doing something similar, I would like to just cover the major spots. What areas would be the most important to cover? Also are you just going to lay the carpet over the mat or what? I can't imagine the material staying in place long with just a piece of carpet laying on top of it.
  14. advance auto parts(or affiliate) can get you quality parts. They carry Moog, which i have always heard is high quality. The best thing is they price match any lifetime warranty item. What I did was go to autozone and have them print me the price of their tie rod end($15 duracrap) and then take it to advance and they gave me quality tie rod ends for $15 Each. I ended up saving $50 just on tie rods. Moral of the story, Duralast stuff can be useful.
  15. Possibly my biggest pet peave. If we have a shift key sticky can we make a "There is no break system on your car" sticky?
  16. do you have two hd's? do you have any usb accessories plugged in? I know vista flipped a Biotch when that happened.
