  1. I went to the Denver Grand Prix yesterday and noticed they have a Vintage Race!! Jeff Winter and his 1975 280z and Terry Allard and his 1972 240z raced along with like 20-30 other vintage cars ranging from old Jags to Bug Eyes Check out the race on Sunday.. should be airing on NBC for the Champ cars.. and hopefully SpeedTV for the Speed World Championship and the Vintage race! Here's some pics
  2. Eifel Historic Rally with some 240z clips Umm.. I dunno what it is with these drivers but they cant seem to keep their foot off the gas after the apex... Pro rally drivers will slide through the entire corner.. entering the corner sideways and exiting facing straight out.. these drivers just mash the gas to get a nasty fishtail to slow em down.. anyway.. just wanted to share

  5. I just shipped a Scheider Stage I cam to Ted.. and the piece of crap broke in half during the shipment.. maybe that accounts for it being soft?

  9. cut my finger tips off on my index and middle finger .. when the fan grounded itself to the chassis ... was cut the bone.. has 5 stiches in each finger with the chunks of skin that somehow survived
  10. why dont you just cut off the tranny mount and slide it over and weld it? still uses the same stock mount.. just welds a few inches over.. while your at it.. weld in some thick sheet metal to re-inforce it

  12. umm.. maybe 4,000 + a year on my Z.. im at 135,000 miles now on my chassis.. no idea on the motor

  14. AutoZone has LOADED calipers for $79 S12+8 i gave em my old Z brakes for the cores.. they didnt know

  17. clutch fully disengages in the middle... there is maybe an inch from the floor to the engagement point...
  18. yes sir! I originally ran the setup with the longer collar hoping to get a longer throw.. I had a few issues with it disengaging.. so I swapped in the shorter collar, after the ACT throwout bearing started squeeling... with a Nissan throwout bearing, and the shorter collar everything worked out rather well... untill around 3,000 miles.
  19. ahh good theories.. I just assumed maybe the metal fingers were breaking in.. as I could not source down what in the world was wrong with my setup. I am running a stainless steel clutch line, so I hope there is no ballooning... as for the chatter, I have not had ANY chatter after the intial 1,000 mile break in or so .. but the directions indicated chatter is common on initial break in. I checked the fork when I pulled the engine out 2 months ago, no cracks, or bends. I remember reading all the threads about ACT clutchs and seeing a pic of the fork BENT! jeesh! so I checked it out.. no probs Weird thing was I ran a NEW master cylinder and a NEW 11/16 slave cylinder at the same time, and still had issues.. no air bubbles or anything... thats when I gave up, returned the master and bought a 3/4 and life was good.
