  1. Might be interested. what kinda split are you thinkin about?
  2. umm, about the a/c, I live in new mexico, it gets hot, i'll stick with it, 50 lbs is worth not getting heat stroke, but its not like mine is a race car, haha, so i don't really give a crap about the weight
  3. OMG those wheels are crazy wide. Diamond racing wheels FTW, I don't remember the name of the ones I like. They have the triangles in them.
  4. ok, cool... If I can get an extra set or OEM straps and you still haven't gotten any I'll be willing to send you them.
  5. OH, the wheels look like centerlines to me, but they look nice
  6. Looks good, yea, vacuum lines galore, Can't wait till I get to that stage, I will be using stock N/A intake mani
  7. Those look nice, any info on the 280z straps? I'm going to always be broke, but your price was cheap already, just other things are priority right now. Wondering if you made any
  8. Ouch, from what I see is a hack job on the front end, rear wide body kit, not sure what kind, not really into wide body on this, and some tail likes that will take a few hours of hard labor to get back to good, looks like a good project, not sure what you could selll it for, motors no good if it didn't run for 15 years for sure. Edit, you also have a wail tail spoiler
  9. Its called test the bulbs, step on the brakes, which lights up, put it in reverse, which lights up, flashers, which light up, either way, I think only the right bulb should fit in the right socket. http://forums.hybridz.org/search.php
  10. My dad said if you want it done right a good some in Indy would be M & M Automotive, just a word of advice, I was tellin him about this.
  11. Have you tried to hold your foot on the gas at a higher RPM, maybe it will stay running. If so it could be your low speed fuel injection tune. It might be filling up with to much fuel and flooding off. You did check your injectors right? They arn't gummed up or anything.
  12. I was thinking, has anybody ever thought about making a casting mold out of like the KA segments design. that way, you mold the segments, and end up with a solid cast able mold. this way you could just have a direct replacement, I would see it taking a bit of time, possibly TIG welding the segments together, and smoothing out the welds. Then somebody could bulk cast them, and sell them to people. I'm not sure if this is even possible, but if it is, I think with some work it could be made possible.
  13. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=123189 Try that out. I think its a good concept, and don't use 2 part epoxy, use bumper repair like he did, its meant to withstand sun and heat, 2 part epoxy, well, its not. Other than that, you could go aluminum dash. If you wish to retain A/C, maybe custom ducting. You would have to make the directors or whatever you wana call them fit. but you could get them out of any car you wanted.
  14. I am super interested in this build. It is inspiring to see people trying to figure out things like this. By any chance what part of Indiana do you live in? There are a TON of race shops around here, but most of them deal with open wheel cars.
  15. Why does everybody want E85? Yes it has alcohol, but if you want alcohol then run methanol. Now that may be hard for some people as of obtaining it, but most places with race tracks, especially in Indiana, its easily obtainable. It will be higher octane than your E85. Plus then you have stair alcohol, no regular gas left. Most seals have to be replaced to run alcohol, it will also gum up faster than your regular gasoline. When we run a dirt track sprint car, we clean the injectors and fuel system before every track visit. Either way, I may just sound crazy, but I think if your going to E85 for performance, just go all the way.
  16. I know this is old, but why isn't it a sticky, real is going to help me out alot, calmed me down alot about the wiring. Its not super clear, but it will be a big help when I go to wire mine.
  17. Well, you spent 2700 on your entire motor, the entire front clip will be 2700. They seem okay, I plan to post asking about them before I would buy. I'm more considering SR because I can't get an oil pan for the RB and I was going to use 200zr engine mounts as well, and make my own trans. mount. I just love the RB sound better, and its got more torque.
  18. Yea i see me doing this swap and then the first time I go out having to wait another month to get enough money to replace everything in the rear end. I'm thinking it might be more worth it to put a 240 or skyline subframe in. I see changing out the entire suspension giving the car alot more potential, I can get a r33 front clip for 2200, and 500 shipping, to a residential address. Now I just have to hope the site is reliable, shipping is supposed to take like 48 to 58 days or something.
  19. Just as soon as I was going, Ok, I will do the sr20 swap, I see this video, makes me want an RB alot more now, haha
  20. I'm assuming you used this already? http://forums.hybridz.org/search.php If so then sorry I can't help you, I'm not sure about this, I'm a newb still
  21. I like it, but I do wonder what it would look like fully cut out, but then with the same mesh material on it. Seems like it would be really rice looking. Maybe a Drop vent.
  22. My dash will be make of sheet aluminum, easy, really light, weld a couple tabs and Zeus it in. It doesn't basically you cut it to fit around the curve, bend it where you like it to go down, you can make a console piece as well, probably even manage to fit ac and radio components if you wish. You just have to make the mounts. Hole saw for your gauge holes, nice, clean, race car sorta look.
  23. Thanks, for some reason I can't open up the body electric. Doesn't matter to much. More or less I wanted to know what do you use to move them. Maybe my net is acting up, I'll try it at a diff. time
  24. Sold, looks like I found me what I want for my car if I don't go fender mirrors, which means I'm doin these, cause they're electric. Now any hook up guides to make them work right? like a DIY
