  1. Ken, The other line that comes out of the condenser is on the pass side. That is where I have the drier mounted. Remember I am using stock pieces.
  2. Ken, All of my plumbing is stock 78 280Z. What I need recreated are the 2 hoses that connected to the compressor. Both are about a foot long. One will go from the JCI compressor to the copper line down on the drivers side frame rail and the other goes from the compressor to the stock condenser. Everything else, including the drier, is in place. Joe
  3. Has anyone had AC hoses made to attach the JCI compressor to the stock 280Z hard copper line and condenser? I want to order custom hoses from a site like www.rayeveritt.com but am clueless when it comes to AC fittings. Yes I know JCI offers a hose kit for $200 but it would appear that they would not like to take my 2 benjamins because my name is not in their dbase as a customer, (bought my car from DaleMX in 2009). Being from NJ which still has snow on the ground, it's a little difficult to find a custom auto AC shop close by Any help here is greatly appreciated. Joe
  4. Pulled the trigger today, Joel. Should be here in 2-3 weeks. My knees are ecstatic!
  5. Very nice! I'm really interested in specs on the accessory mounts. How did you mount the alt and the PS pump? I'm in the process of adding PS to my car and would like any info you have. Also, it seems the steering shaft from the Subi rack wants to come up through the JCI mount. I have a modified mount and was about to mod the crossmember. Any further gotcha's?
  6. Like the title says, I need the bumper over rider filler plugs for an early 260Z. I actually only need one but I'm willing to buy a pair, or new over riders if you have them. Joe
  7. There should be the hamburger insignia stamped on the flange that goes along the hood . Tough to see even when the fender is new but it's there.
  8. Looks like we'll be breaking out the sawzall to get the motor out if you end up with the red one Anyone know where the ECU is stored on these?
  9. Hi Glenn, We're using the red stuff as well
  10. Nope, fired up today. Gotta get this thing outta here!
  11. Motor is in and wired up. Cooling system and fuel system need to be finished up. She will be fired up today!
  12. Don't you worry boss. While you're out playin in AC, I'll get her runnin over the weekend.
  13. Cesar, You're very close to me as I'm up in Westwood. I have most everything you need. Shoot me an email. Joe
  14. Oh I'm sure you will do better than that
  15. EvilC and I are going to split a trailer cost. We are looking at this one: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-cars-sale/565286-fs-steel-trailer.html We are thinking of offering $1000. What do you guys look for when buying a used trailer? This will be used to haul Z cars around of course. Thanks for any help. Owner is upgrading to a new trailer for his new GT3.
  16. I'm in Boonton and i have a complete AC & heater setup for sale.

  17. Ken, Hope the phone conversation helped. I'll admit, getting this kit to work was quite frustrating. I have had the compressor mounted for about 9 months with no issues. Now to get the 2 AC hoses made up and fill the system Joe
  18. Since I'm there everyday, I'm probably the last person that should be giving you recommendations on what to see in the city. There are about a million museums, restaurants, parks, 2 brand spankin new MLB stadiums, the old World Trade Center site, Statue of liberty, more skyscrapers than you can imagine not to mention tons of people that will try to scam the tourists. That being said, I think the best thing you can do is walk Manhattan. Start at the "Bull" on Broadway just south of Wall St. and walk north to Times Square. Walk east on one of the streets in in the upper 40's, theater district, until you get to either 5th Ave or Park Ave then walk north again for about 10 or so more blocks. This will probably take you about 4-5 hours but you will see more about the city than you would if you had an agenda. Along the way I'm sure you will be stopping at the Empire State Bldg, Rock Center, Wall St, Ground Zero, Canal St, Radio City, etc.... There is way to much to do in 3 days. For the Boardwalk, head to the Jersey Shore. Point Pleasant, Seaside Heights (MTV fame), Atlantic City, Wildwood, CapeMay all have boardwalks with rides, stands, and beautiful wide beaches. Hope that gives you some ideas. Joe
  19. I think Dave has the one I had upstairs in his 240. See if he will swap with you. Joe
  20. PM me an off fer the red one in my avatar. You never know! Joe
  21. Pete, Sounds like my yellow car. I've swapped everything you have and threw in a new trans also. Same crap. I've also checked the driveline angles with laser pointers which seem to be dead on parallel. If you figure this out and it stops my vibration also, beer is on me! Joe
