It may be just my opnion but if you are concerned about that you shouldnt drive it around. Simply build it to show it...no fun. I doubt any type of protection would really help even in the smallest of bumps. It may even make it worse. Plus you would have to drill thru your bonnet to install any type of bar, and man it would kill the looks!!!

Are these three units pretty much the same animal? Is the 280 stronger than either the 260 or 240 version? I am referring to the rear diff crossmamber support. The on with the eliptical cutout for the eahaust. Thanks!!

Unfortunately if I get too close to even a incadesent work light the shield darkens. I have to weld "sans" light in order for the helmet to function properly. In reply to blaming the tool... if the sheild sealed better against the lens, I wouldn't have removed it. Unfortunately it is made in such a cheap fashion that it collects moisture and fogs up very badly.

Funny you should say that!! I have been trying to think of a way to completly hide the harness. I was considering running it through the unibody, or the square rail at the bootm of the engine bay. Anybody ever try something like this?

Jason, Dude I have not been able to find anyone who will make molds for me. I looked into doing it myself but it is not going to happen. I don't have the resources etc to do it. I am going to use the 1/4's but I am not going to use the fenders. So am I supposed to just sit on them because they have "historical value"? My intentions were to make molds but since I can't it does not make sense to simply store them. If someone is going to install them then why not sell them? Then they will be used as they were originally intended. Once again I am sorry, I had no intention of peeving you off, if anything, I thought I was helping someone out who needed some cash for a move. If it makes you feel any better no one has bought them as of yet. If you want, I will sell the kit back to you. If it really bothers you, I would have no trouble at all boxing it all up and shipping it out....let me know. Rufus

Has anyone eles noticed he is using a 300z master cylinder? I thought the only good swap was a 280zx master. Has anyone eles tried this?

Holy F#@% !!!!! I thought that all the different sweaters had been photoshopped because that hideous thing has the same miserable look on her face for each pic!!! I guess it's the only facial expression she knows!!! Of course if I had to wear those sweaters and th.. th.. those PANTS...I might have a similar look on my face. I have his website and email address on my computer at work. He seemed like a real cool cat. He will even send you his drawings for free if you want them. But for the price I think it is worth having him make it. The only thing it does not have but could easily be added is the middle piece that attaches both ends. It makes shipping more difficult and expensive. Also if you want casters it is an additional $50. Still a bargain though. If I had not gotten such a sweet deal on mine I would have bought one. I will shoot you the addresses and drawings tomorrow. I had him send them to me.

The vertical adustability is a nice feature but how much does it add to the price? I have the address of a guy who makes a similar unit with the brackets for whatever type Z you have. $325 includes shipping to your door. No vert. adjust though.If the one you are looking at is 800 to 1000 (i did'nt see a price) you could buy a used lft for just a couple hundo more. I am very glad I picked one up. It has already cut several job times in half or less!!!

Hook him up Tim....ONE MILLION DOLLARS!!!! When you are done you can shoot over here to the east coast and show me the finer points of block sanding!!! While I watch...from a distance...not touching any sandpaper!!! Just kidding!! For a side job it would beat doing brakes and driveability on a 92 Mitsubishi Gallant...(garbage I am working on eating up time better spent on the Z)
