  1. It's definitely a great book to have, you won't regret getting it!
  2. Very cool! What's also nice is, if you have a concrete driveway, you can set this up outside.
  3. Good stuff, at least it will be restored. Does your Jensen have a 440? Always liked those cars.
  4. Beautiful area isn't it! Love the Dragon, and Fontana!
  5. If it was stainless steel it would, but regular steel may look like dull aluminum. You would have to clear coat it.
  6. Check this: http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php?/topic/91388-early-fuse-block-on-ebay/
  7. Our fuse blocks are notorious for corroding, and having loose fuse tabs. You need to check the back of the fuse block, and maybe solder the tabs. Here are a few articles I found: http://www.zparts.com/zptech/articles/fuse_damage/fusedam.htm http://www.zparts.com/zptech/tech_tips/izccposts/izccposts.html

  9. lets leave this here, and you start a new post in the Chevy forum.
  10. Did you use a steering wheel puller? It is different than a gear puller
  11. I think your tranny is messed up. When I first drove my Z with the T56 in it, I backed out onto the street, put the the lever into first, let the clutch out and it stalled. Every gear I tried, it would stall. Turned out reverse and I think 6th gear jammed together inside the tranny, but the lever moved freely in all gears. Did you try connecting the clutch peddle, then push in the clutch, and see if the motor turns?
  12. Looks great so far! Keep up the good work.
  13. Very good news! Now don't park it in an alley near a strip mall!! Rent a garage.
  14. Check here, this should help: http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php?/topic/35233-240z-electrical-diagrams/

  17. Are you using the stock Datsun alternator? If so use the stock voltage regulator. If you are using a Ford alternator, use the voltage regulator that goes with it.
  18. 50* is kind of high, are you sure it's full? All my cars get from 39* to 42* http://www.aircondition.com/
