Hi Brandon, I was wondering if that was you. I looked at your "boost" post and thought it must be. I don't know of anyone but Ryan running a bug at 10.3@133.
The reason your 18psi of boost isn't blowing piston chunks out the tailpipe is 1) the altitude, and 2) no intercooler, so the air mass isn't great enough to run you lean -- with a 750 Holley you've got plenty of fuel I would think.
I will try to get to the strip to see you run in July. I get a vacation as the wife and kids will be out of town then. You are welcome to the slicks, I don't plan on using them. I think when you start hitting 1.8 and lower 60 foot times, axles will start snapping. You can also try running my drag radials as I am not running drags anymore and my tire stacks in the garage are hitting the ceiling.
I'm glad you are having some success with that car now. Too bad the injection setup didn't work out. Don't worry too much about hurting stuff as long as you are running rich. Shane was running 22 psi boost on an injected setup, stock engine, for many seasons with no issues. Do consider running the highest octane fuel you can get and an alcohol injection would give you added detonation resistance.
