    ok, i'm not one to say "search" very often, but this is way to general of a question. What do you have in mind? you will need to do alot of reading, and ultimately you will decide on your own exactly what MS system you want. Any of the MS systems will work, its just a matter of what you want.

    Maybe the turbo engine is different, but i have been able to take the pan off with out taking anything else off in the past. Just undo all bolts, then get to the oil pickup with a wrench.

    There are scales at most (if not all) drag tracks. Any place that does race-car setup should have a set of high quality scales. then, there is the bathroom scale method mentioned earlier.

    If you really want to solidify the chassis, put in some subframe connectors, or a properly setup roll cage.

    my plan: ld28 block, and front cover. This would give the cleanest install ever. Still need to figure out cam angle sensor so I don't have to run wasted spark. ...all in my dreams

    You should really specify 1/8th mile. You should have seen the instanteneous look of shock on my face when I read "6.7's" in your post. I quickly realized that it had to be a 1/8 mile time.

    that is nice. I'm guessing the small gear they were putting on was for the fuel pump? or was that the flywheel?!?

    So the ultimate setup would be a Lightened and fully balanced crankshaft, lightened pistons and rods, lighter harmonic balancer, light flywheel with a 5" clutch, CF driveshaft, 10lb wheels... I'm sure you would notice a huge difference after all those mods now, I'm assuming cv's are lighter than the heavy U-jointed halfshafts, but I have heard that U-joints have less friction, so either one is ok?

    when using the o-ring rail, the rail itself acts as a hold down.
