  1. I wonder what that hook is for on the accelerator pedal? Heel toe downshifting?
  2. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=8851199070825595194&q=ferrari not a factory tour but this video is amazing, and its about ferrari's, so I didn't want to start a new thread
  3. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-6457427583913966018&q=ferrari Its amazing the way they build the heads and drop the engines in!!!
  4. knock sensor? Are you thinking about the cylinder head temp sensor? (the little thing in the back part of the right side of the head? also, theres the F54 block, and the N42 block, but no N54 block. N42 was the N/A block, F54 was turbo.
  5. sweet find! What oil did you use?
  6. This is another vid of the ferrari: click here
  7. yeah, cool swap! Should I assume that it would be just as neat of a fit in a S30 engine bay?
  8. Once i saw a porsche GT-3 full blown race car with a quick disconnect air fitting sticking out of the hood. Guess it had air jacks too.
  9. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=111433 good luck!
  10. Good idea z-tard, but I don't think i'm even going to do leather any more I was warned by a good friend that leather is impossible to work with compared to vinyl, in terms of lining up threading holes and fitting it properly. My plan as of now, after hearing the encouragement for the diamond vinyl trans tunnel: Vinyl trans tunnel (don't think these came on the 280's, correct me if i'm wrong) carpet kit, the standard kind, just floors, behind seats, and rear deck. The dash cap I have looks good, but I think I will eventually swing a full cap instead of a half cap, cus Even though most people don't see the seam, I do, and it bothers me, so full cap, glued on will be the solution. (mine is just laid on right now) thanks for the input! oh yeah, someday I will cover that momo wheel in suede.
  11. wow thats fast... I would not like to have someone shooting off pictures with flash in my face though. It could get annoying real quick.
  12. It can be an easy job. Injector-rail hoses: If you look at the bases of the injectors, there are two little phillips head screws. You can remove those screws, and any supports that the fuel rail may have to the intake manifold, and then pull all the injectors out with the fuel rail. Then it will be easy to change a couple of rail-injector hoses. All other hoses: If you have the stock fuel rail, the best way to do this is to continue with what I have described above, and then separate the sections of fuel rail that hold the rubber that needs replacing those are the only two tricky spots for changing rail hoses, and the pressure regulator (if it is in the middle of all the hoses, will be the same as separating "sections" of the fuel rail. the other hoses are super easy to change. should take no more than 2-3 hrs -Oliver
  13. wow, now we need to be able to shrink a good driver to test that ferrari!
  14. what a ricer... thats the biggest cone filter i've seen j/k
  15. hate to be the pessimist here, but it definitely does not flow with any lines on the car. there. I said it... I do like it, for one reason. It comes lower than almost all the other airdams I've seen without having to use a splitter.
  16. That sucks. Makes me want to put a bumper on my Z... nice airdam
  17. So, do all these engines just sit around and get revved up every once in a while, or is anyone building small cars around them? The new light weight engine for the Z! haha
  18. that narrator needs to go away. They're not called GD-R's...

If thats supposed to be a 280zx... I bet there are no more zx parts on it... anywhere...what's it run?
  21. I have a few Ideas, as my current carpet is gross and will be replaced soon, i want to cover up the trans tunnel properly... 1) Buy some leather and install it where the factory vinyl used to be, ( my car never came with it, just ugly carpet ALL over the interior) and purchase a stock carpet kit, designed for use with the stock vinyl. Would this be worth it? or should I.... 2) Get a good quality carpet and just cover the interior in it, securing it properly everywhere. I'm also thinking about covering my dash in leather. Right now I have a half dash cap, and under it I have a few cracks. How hard would that be to do? I still have to cover a steering wheel in leather... haven't gotten around to that yet!
  22. Ill take a 510 instead, and beat your alfa at laguna seca
