  1. got anyone looking for one im considering selling mine but not 100% for sure yet... money talks though ;>
  2. add another 3 K and ill deliver it personally ;>
  3. add another 10 K and you can have mine.... you ll also have to ship it though ;>
  4. depends on tire size. i had a 3.90 and it was really way to tall for the r-33 mission. you have to consider that the r-33 GTS-T has l;ike a 4.5 or 4.7 or something like that in it stock. i put a 4.88 inmine with 26 inch tires and the calculators say i will be turning 8000rpm at 127mph so i might have to jam 5th at the last second

    swap time!

the down pipe was a custom job... basically took a aftermerket GTR downpipe and cut it up and welded back together to fit Z
  6. that is an option. im going ot replace the one that broke and try one more time but with a very light launch.. with the new rear i should be able to get it off the line well.
  7. yes this is the inner side .... im kinda curious if the crack in the metal is normal or not for this type of breakage????
  8. ok all you metal guys take a look at these. does this look normal? not sure if you can see it in the pics but there is a good size crake in the metal so what do you guys think?
  9. the plugs from a 300zx should be the same. im using gready iridiums. ngk # T7341Y-8 might take awhile but i could get you some from my friend in japan if you cant find anything they are like 20 bucks a pop though
  10. im thinking about cryo treating to new ones and trying that... im going to replace it and try one more time but im going to be so gunshy its not even funny.
  11. http://teamkorn.tv/akms/Stony.mpg right click save as.
  12. more then likely they cut up a crashed skyline... they are pretty easy to fing in japan. If i go as far as swap another rear i will go with a nine inch. It will be about the same amount of work. alittle more expensive but it will be done and i wont have to worry about it breaking ;>
  13. wow looks like they grafted the rear floor and the front strut mounts in. when you see it like that dosnt look all that hard ;>
  14. well im going to punish myself for while with this screenname. the car will probably sit the rest of the summer and winter till i get motivations and fundage to do a auto swap. Im going to do some research on getting a couple sponsors lined up sionce everyone knows my car here in anchorage and seems to think i should get sponsored out the ass.... but we will see. anyone else sponsored here????? what is provided any general rules or guide lines?
  15. this is what i did with my linelock......just get some us spec theaded lines or fittings if you can just the fitting. cut off the stock line as close to the fitting as possible and slip over the fitting that work with the tilton. then reflair the line and your done. it worked for me.... not sure the tilton has the same size lines but if it does should work for you too.
  16. mine is the 5/8. maybe that is the problem. I believe the later 260s and 280s had bigger master cylinders
  17. you have to adjust the mastercylinder rod up at the top of the clutch pedal. i had the same problem. I was afraid that i had to adjust to far the slave would pop out but it didnt and it worked fine. Is your pedal going all the way to the floor?
  18. what kind of rpm would it turn? ive been told they are not good for my application (hi rpm)
  19. ok all you v-8 guys. i need to know what the best (not most expensive) automatic tranny i can get that will withstand 500+ flywheel horspower and shit at 8000 rpm with out exploding. i may give this IRS one more chance before i gut it and go with a solid rear.
  20. well any suggestions????? not sure too manu autos can handle 8000 rpm? i know where i can get an adapter to mount the us spec auto but i need to know which one will be best. i was kinda under the impression that a translock hits just as hard if not harder then a clutch
  21. sheared it off right where the threads end. exactly the same way the older 240 stubs shear.... if i hadnt upgraded my rears to discs my rear tire would have just popped off. im still in a state of disgust about the whole thing. those stubs should of held alot more then that.
  22. NOt only No but **** no ... i didnt even break the beams with the rear tires!!!!!! broke a goddamn 300zx turbo stub shaft!!!!!! launched at 2500 rpm i guess there was some slip to that old clutch the new HKS snapped it like a twig.... well back to teh drawing board... next tie i will be at the track will be with a solid rearend and a glide
  23. your friend would be the best bet.... you can ship a one meter square box full of lead for about 1100 anywhere in the world. and the rb25 out of okinawa will cost around 2500 with a tranny complete. so if you actually find someone to get the motor from you can save about 1000+ by doing it yourself
  24. why did you sell it???? im addicted to rb power. if i cant get mine in the tens with current chassis and drivetrain mods gonna sell mine too and start over with a backhalved z powered by a 600RWHP+ rb26
  25. you will know in less then 10 hours hitting the road to the track now.
