How much is e85 per gallon???

Best thig to do is buy one of the aftermarket down pipes and cut/weld it for your application. I got mine from kakimoto a long time ago. not sure what is available nowadays

Just curious... with the fuels system you had in it why are you using e-85... seems like you could have reached your goal using race fuel pretty easy.

I sold a bunch to a local vendor here in the US for 400 bux a pop. he turned around and sold them very fast for 600+!!! so yea i think its a good deal

Is that turbo going to fit in between the frame rails???

Nothing soon just keeping up to speed on developments just in case :> I modded the S30 strut to accept the Z31 stubs with cromoly axles and the z31 stubs snapped right at the part where they are the smallest. If someone came up with a bearing setup that would fit the s30 struts and accept your 33 spline stubs that would make allot of people happy. I think with a good aftermarket r-200, chomoly axles, your stubs and running an automatic one could see many 9 sec runs on the bumper ;>

Not sure what suspention setup he has in that but a 4 link can be setup to lift the tires very easily. ultimately you want just the slightest bit of wheel lift. well im not sure you could call that a home built unit. Not sure how many people have lathes, waterjets ect ect in there garages :> Nice project though.

Is there a writeup on this install anywhere... ie struts this applies to. When i did my s30 strut mod i had to get the strut housing machined to accept the bigger bearing fro the z31. Is this the case with this MOD? very interested.

A clutch type LSD i might add. Did i really sell that for 50bux:cuss: Dont expect to find one of those in the near future. Maybe a one wheel wonder. The clutch lsd's go for 4-800 depending on the area and what condition they are in and the gearing.

I'm also considering a pattern where it looks a red car is ripping out of a black car. You know where the black paint looks like it is being peeled back to expose the red underneath. We will see. I also need to get some prices on just a straight up red paint job

After 4 years...the red car was pulled from the chassis shop unfinished. I bought the black car As a roller and I'm putting the red front clip and drivetrain from teh red car on the black car. The design... if i do it... will work the red front clip into the black shell and cover up the checkers somehow.... haven't figured that part out yet.

Hey anyone out there have a full car they could take some measurements. Dont have to be exact just trying to get some estimates on how much a wrap will cost. My front clip is not installed yet so i cant get accurate measurements. The picture below are the measurements needed. I would appreciate the help Thanks Stony

Trying to figure out how im going to finish the Z. Here is a pic of it how it looks now. Picture it with a standard z hood with no scoop. I dont want to paint the whole thing, The black parts of the car are really pretty nice. So im considering one of these new vehicle wrap things. The wrap will be as small as required to cover up the checkers. Im thinking a carbon fiber hood with real flames or scallops starting at the front and going back far enough to cover the checkers. Anyone have any pictures of a car with similar designs? or any other ideas?

4 ea or 6? Top feed low imp right?

Oh yea back on topic. For those that don’t know the rb26 was rated at 280PS from the factory. My car was a perfect example of how underrated it actually was. In stock form it has a very restrictive intake and exhaust. And with just aftermarket intake and exhaust guys in Japan hit the 320 mark really easy. With my car keep in mind I used a standalone which allowed me to pull every little bit of HP out of it in stock form. If I was brave and upped the boost on the stock turbos (don’t do this) I could have got 420 at the wheels. Anyway keep us updated on your projects. Always like to read others progress.

This is one of my favorite videos and a good indication on my i wasnt breaking anything initially. LOTS OF TIRE SLIP. Basically i was dropping the clutch at 6000rpm and that was just enough to not hit the rev limiter. rb26 260Z 240Z at stock booste with 680CC injectors
