  1. Any one have a picture of this strut?
  2. Well here is my problem. Im using the Koni inserts that AZC sells along with the coilovers. i cut the perch off and installed the threaded tubes as instructed. It was a pretty clean install. and with the old wheels with low profile tires i could get it plenty low enough. Now with the mickey Ts on the front that are about 25 Inches tall i cant get the front down low enough to match where the rearend is going to be. With the coilovers turned all the way down which basically put the insert on its internal stops, i pretty much have no suspension travel. So im guessing that if i installed a 3 inch shorter insert and sectioned the strut i will be able to lower the car like i want and also have the travel that i need. So 3 inches isnt all that bad i dont think. what do you guys think.
  3. Yes the engine is staying where its at now. with the 4 link it really wont matter not a ss autochrome but here are teh pics.
  4. Ok guys, sorry i dont have the time to search and compile from 100s of other threads. SO if you could in this thread post what struts including part numbers that will work in a 260 front strut that are 2-3 inches shorter then stock. i want to section the struts to lower the car more then is possible now. currently this is as low as the front will go. i want the tire to tuck up in there more. Thanks again maybe if enough part numbers get posted we can make this a sticky
  5. Here are some update pics from today. had the engine in and out like 4 times measureing and for final cutting of manifold and engine mid plate. enjoy Lots of room now for the t88 still needs final touches and paint Fitting intercooler Initial downpipe fitting. this is going to be tight. i still have to get the midplate cut. Final ride Height in the rear. its gonna fit perfect. only going to have to trim a little out of the inner fender lip. and still have to section the front struts so it will sit a little lower with out bottoming out the struts. Any one have any ides on what struts i can use that will utilize the upper nut and be about 2 inches shorter then the stock 260Z insert???
  6. Yes please post teh pics of the other 2 >
  7. I'm not going to talk too much about these as they are not my struts. BUT all it would take are some tabs or a bracket to the mount any rotor/caliper setup.
  8. If jamie ever gets around to testing his struts the IRS woes of IRS users will be solved ( in my opinion) these struts would allow you to use a gtr, z32tt, axle and diff with minimal mods. basically mount the diff, custom length axles with the gtr CVs and your nearly bulletproof now. put an automatic in there and your done for drag anyways.
  9. Yes wheel side.... r-200 with 4.88 gearing. BTW i felt i should upgrade to disc brakes just incase this happened... im glad i did or it would have been alittle more ugly then it was.
  10. I converted my car to z31 cv axles with custom chromoly axles from driveshaft shop. teh weak point then became the stub shaft!!!!! This was the one and only launch on this setup. I truely believe I'd still be running this setup if i had converted to an automatic versus using a twin plate clutch and 5 speed. It was just too much shock to the drivetrain. I had changed the diff gearing to a 4.88 so that had something to do with it to but still the stub broke before the car moved an inch.
  11. good job what booste are you running. i was at 15 psi to get right at 400 to the wheels with a stock gtr intercooler core adn 680cc injectors
  12. So who makes an adapter that mates any tranny in the world that would work in any type of car or truck???? Or does it bolt up to something?
  13. Anyway to tell what topic in what forum has the most views?
  14. I would also like to see a bunch of pics with all 4 on the ground. non action shots if you will. my car will look alot like yours in the end whenever it gets done
  15. nice cars BTW my chassis builder used your blue car as an example of how he wanted to do my exhaust.
  16. Ook maybe not... that is rediculous
  17. Sr20..... they are 200+hp stock and good for 400+ without going internal. and im guessing that it would be pretty easy to get it done for under 6K, If the car is allready prepped
  18. Is it in the states? if you can afford to go to where the motor is and look at it I would. that is usually the price for a motor alone. 165 across the board????? I may be wrong but that Seems a little low....that would be the first time i have seen one like that. there is usually some differences in the cylinders also.
