  1. As usual, it looks good to me. . .with or with out the vents. (hows that for being right down the middle) Terry, do have any shots from a different angle?
  2. Well I`m looking for something big, wide and low for my track car. I had been thinking about the standard MSA front air dam bumper combo and modifing it at the bottom, adding a chin splitter if you will. The "bumper detail" looks to be about the same on both spoilers. ???
  3. Price: $219.99 160 lbs shipping = ? $
  4. Does anyone have any comments on this part from MSA? Any comments about quality / construction?
  5. Looking through some pics here and came a cross this car Whos car is it? Any info on the body kit? Any other pics?
  6. Wow, don`t think you would ever see something like that in the US.
  7. Or, very relaxed. Depends on how you look at it.
  8. Ditto above plus this message "You cannot make another post so soon after your last; please try again in a short while."
  9. How`s the progress coming Mark? Any track events with the new Z this year? Love that g-nose behind that chebby thing.
  10. I liked everything I saw! Very Nice! To all who had hands on And of course the "money man" Please post more pics if available.
  11. The craftsman sets would be a good start and like Joe said when a replacement is needed, upgrade. I have a Mac set that I’ve had for probly 15 years and a craftsman set for about 12 years. The craftsman pieces dull after some hard usage. The Mac (matco, snap-on) stuff is better but not necessary for the limited user
  12. Such a nice landscape, to bad you can’t breathe the air there.
  13. I should have said, blowing oil out the block vent tube. I also run 6 quarts in the crankcase at track events and the problem only happens thru turn 10 at Summit Point (fast long right hander). Note "mature block" meaning, - old - wore out - on its last leg - many thousands of miles - needs work - hoping I don’t blow this thing while I’m here (on track) But hey, running Amsoil 20w50 and it just keeps going and going and going . . .
  14. Good for you Mike, but. . . having a few more years on ya, I`m not so trusting of people anymore. Thankfully there are still good people out there (like the members of our little peice of syberspace here ) and the guy didn`t steal your car or kill you and dump your body some where (joke, kinda). All I wanted to say was be careful out there and thanks for being "one of the good guys".
  15. Thanks Wayne, Its all going to come together very nicely. I also am looking foreward to see your car on the ground. Did the g-nose come with the spoiler/splitter or is that something you added on.
  16. Ditto here. 25mm freeze plug in the block and K&N filter off the valve cover. I blocked off the block due to a "mature block" blowing some oil out at track events. With just the valve cover vented, no problems.
  17. Thats going to look great. Please post some side shots showing the g-nose back. And, where did you get the rear quarters?
  18. To bad the driver came away ok. I`m all for saving some tax payer`s money.
  19. Very Nice ! Did you document the construction as in a set of plans ? If this is your rotisserie, I can’t wait to see how you car turns out.
  20. Jamie, you can start here. http://dimequarterly.tierranet.com I had a very good condition 71 2 door years ago. Great little cars. I put it in the back yard on jack stands to do some work, the biggest tree in our back yard fell in a strom and landed dead center the roof. Needless to say it turned into a 71 Datsun 510-U. Nice choice on engines, the 510`s have a lot of potential.
