  1. Mine is a Tilton small version. I mounted inside the car so ajustments could be made quik and easy. I removed the stock pro valve and did some basic brake line ajustments to get things hooked up. http://f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/valubes/detail?.dir=/7e99&.dnm=296d.jpg
  2. For the "drilled" for oiling cam, block the spray bar holes. For a "solid" cam, use the spray bar.
  3. Use caution if more than 2 sets of shims are used. Theres not alot of treads for the cam tower bolts, and I think the tourque is only like 12 foot pounds. I installed heli-coils in all cam tower bolt holes due to pulling the threads out. And of course, this was after the valve train was assembled.
  4. What`s your gut telling you ? All you have to do is say No!
  5. When you have time, thanks I have been thinking of trying these on my early Z. The fronts don`t look bad. I am looking for what ever detail you can do. It looks doable. The blue 300 sure is sharp!
  6. Are you all pleased with the product ?
  7. Ck the "known good" sports and import shops in your area. I`m sure you can find a source for a good reman supplier.

  9. Anyone have some time, I would like to see 300ZX (84-89) rear fenders and factory side skirt on a S30. Any takers!
  10. Anyone used these? Scene mounted on an early model? Quaility of part?
  11. 215/60/14 will fit fine on 6 - 7" wheels. It`s a good size 14" tire for the car, even one lowered abit.
  12. Does anyone have some good shots (diff angles) of this MSA air damn on their car? I`ve seen lots of cars (pics) with them installed, but now I need to pay attention. I will probably get one and try something new. Got a couple ideas.
  13. Nissan needs to break from the “new Z†following some heritage and just build another Z car. Basic and fun to drive. Great work on the drawings!
  14. Z strut O.D. measurements 240/early 260 struts O.D. is 2.02" (taken from '73 strut) 280 struts O.D. is 2.185" (taken from ’76 strut)
  15. Targa. . . Removeable roof. . . You can do it!
  16. I have been up and down this road for several years. My car is street legal, but is setup for road course use. No a/c, No heat, HOT, Stiff, Loud and doesn’t even look very good. I would not hesitate to get in it and go 100`s of miles. I will take the car even closer to the edge, But, It will always have to remain street legal. There have been too many “nice little rides†on a nice day. I have never had a ride in my car I did not enjoy! I do agree, I don’t drive it much due to chance that someone would cause damage. I could always get another car, but I like the one I have. Great topic Dan
  17. Please let us know what your results in up being.
  18. I have come to the conclusion that . . . My car is paid for Mine is a good car Good cars are hard to find I have (or would find) a dry spot to let it sit untill the next project. I have repeated this process many times over the 22 years I`ve owned this car. But, everytime I drive it I know why I kept it.
  19. Bill, Would you have any technical docs, articles, drawings, pics other info about webers (DCOE`s mostly) you could add? What book would you recommend for someone to learn and tune Webers?
  20. Excellent start! I too think the nose needs to be closed up some. Maybe a g-nose with a big ole air damn. A nice 3 piece rear spoiler on the back would look good. Nice work!
  21. http://www.arizonazcar.com/springs.html I think they need to be cut some to lower the car, but stiffer than the others.
