  1. I'm thinking those are ssr's mesh.
  2. It just keeps getting better and nicer with each post. If you can find a little time to check on that exact paint code, I would appreciate it. It is neck and neck with one other color I have in mind.
  3. MSA has one for most likely the highest priced of all options at $374.95. http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/LNP03/30-3051 I have my stock 73' out of my car and wrapped up that might be of interest to you. It is not perfect by any means, but in good shape and in San Diego. Pm if you would like to discuss.
  4. I sure would like to see a pic or two of the pass side as I have never seen these before.
  5. I'd have to agree on the z32 application, though not perfect(nit picking), a very nice job indeed.
  6. I like the thinking out of the box approach, but the body work seems at odds with the lights shape, especially in the area where it meets the bumper. Straight on view shows gaps.
  7. Fauxre, Love what you got going on there with the car build. It is nice to see a different option for wheels on that body style with a bit more of an aggressive approach.
  8. It's almost been a year now with barely any new movement on the build up until two weeks ago. I have been in savings mode for the next level or phase of my rebuild for a long time now. I brought my car back to Time Machine Racecraft and had Tho fab up some mounts for the front strut tower bar that would be stout enough and fit around the camber plate section. He had to wing it and guestamate clearance from provided pics of others installs, due to the lack of engine mounted. I now need to dismantle the doors and pull the window and trim from the rear hatch in preperation to have the car media blasted, which hopefully will begin within two weeks. I have been gathering most of the needed supplies (eastwood's undercoating/gun,seam sealer,) and still need to get 3m panel adhesive for the rear panels as well as the paint and compatible acces. I am almost certain I will use a two stage using either PPG, or Dupont paint. Still up in the air if I will attempt my first paint job or bow out and have a professional do it depending on cost. After a rediculously tough decision which bounced between 6 different colors, I am almost positive I will paint the car with Nissan 350z chrome silver. Such a hard decision to make after seeing so many nice examples on here. Here are a few pics of the progress as well as a few of Tho's Mazda rx4 and Silvia that he had in the shop.
  9. I'm looking for a set of 240z clear turn signal lenses as MSA is currently out of stock. If within driving distance(socal), can pay via cash, or paypal, parts trade.
  10. Smoorenc, Just curious as to your first hand experience and results after installing this product and driving with it. I will have my car stripped down to bare metal as soon as it gets out of the fabrication phase and am very interested in this. Any one else here ever use this product?
  11. Heroez, How much do those pneumatic glue guns usually go for? any brand recommendations?
  12. Just looking through local craigslist and saw this: http://sandiego.craigslist.org/csd/pts/2861386973.html At the very bottom of his ad states:" And I have a really clean 1971 Datsun 510 2 Door Shell (No Motor or Trans). I'm not sure I want to sell it, but hit me with the right price and I'll listen." Long haul from Cali, but might be what your looking for.
  13. Any opinions or experience with SEM 39747 multi purpose panel adhesive? I too am in need of knowledgable info for the fg to metal bond.
  14. Damn Cleve, Simply an amizingly nice and clean car. I'm liking your vision with all of your car projects. Very well done indeed.
  15. Okay Mull, We all are in need of some updates on your progress.
  16. Keep it open for now, save and then get an lsd. ^^^ Been in a very simular situation before in a friends old toyota 4x4 wagon many years ago. In hind sight, making the trek from NC, to Florida for Christmas break/surf trip on a shoe string budget and with bad rear bearings was not the brightest idea. I got to see the sparks flying from the bottom of the car in the back right pass seat as the right axle still connected with wheel went rolling off into the woods, still glowing red. Stranded in Bruinswick Georgia for a couple of days, ah yes the memories.
  17. Well done, and I like what you guys are doing. "Anyway thanks for your interest, most z clubs seem to frown upon what we do so it is good to have some nice comments." Cheers Craig Welcome to the z home of non purists'
  18. Man, I'm really digging that color. Looks great out in the sun. Definitely keep those pics coming
  19. Docaam, Your build is very inspiring, and I absolutely love that color choice. Do you know the stock Lambo color code off hand?
  20. Maybe running the lower half of the leather border from the left side below the speaker hole where the curve starts to form, then the bottom half just to the top of the door opener pull plate. It would lighten the heavy visual feel that the tape currently shows. I am looking at what you started with the tape, and visually thinking what approach I will take with my set of panels. I have a small tweeter hole on top of the bass hole to contend with also. I am also hoping to use a chrome or brushed metal piece on the top side for a visual break, enhancement from all of the black. I very much like what you have come up with, with it's progression.
  21. Man that's a great start to what will be a very nice ride. Also curious as to the wheel color change.
  22. I gotta wonder how much damage could have happened to both vehicle and occupants if it was solid ground below and not a watery landing. I'm sure his life was flashing in front of him.
