  1. I cant find one reason why it wouldnt work and I would love to have something stronger and better then the T5 that I have in my car now and now have it cost me an arm and a leg to get it as well. I thought that the Ka tranny would bolt up to the L28 though or am I wrong in this assumption?
  2. There is a guy if you search on ebay, I believe his name is Alfa1750 or something similar, he is from italy and has these carbs all day long and for a very cheap price, I found that he is an incredible person to deal with and if you ever have a problem with anything he has sold you he will fix it straight away. I cant say nothing but good things about his service and his quality of parts he sells. Even though he is from Italy, you can expect fast shipping and a great deal. I had one carb I bought from him in a set. He replaced the part at his dime, no cost to me at all.
  3. Ive been using synthetice for a couple of years now, in my ZXT. The car is about to hit 200k itself and Im well proud of how well she runs and compression is still at 145 on all cylinders. I just love how these engines stay together.
  4. I will say this on a 71 240 that I had with MSA springs and the stock slotted wheels I had no fitment issues at all with the toyota 4 pot calipers on the "stock rotor".
  5. Pretty nice and the price is fair as well. http://sacramento.craigslist.org/car/86698564.html
  6. I will say you got a very good deal, looks good to me as well, now for the clean up and install.
  7. I had did my exhaust on my 280zx and I welded it all though not pretty as most, its welded and complete and fuctioning. I paid 80 dollars delivered for 4 3inch mandrel bent u bends, quite long acutually and 4 dollars for one 3 inch striahgt section of pipe. That was all the pipe I needed, borrowed a freinds welder. I had gotten my flange from James Thagard, and my cone from a company that he recommended. Total cost to me was 20 = flange 20 = cone 80 = 4 3 inch u bends 10 = O2 bung 8 = shipping for the cone, u bends were free shipping. total = 138.00 I made it all myself, now once I take it down again in the winter, I will use flanges at certain points to unbolt it from the car as it is a complete welded piece now. I figure that might cost an extra 50 at tops. This is done with all mild steel though as I have no clue on how to weld stainless. I would think though anyone with a bit of mechanical skill could easily weld theyre own system wihtout much effort given the proper tools. It took me a day to do this and I was quite proud of the job I did, even if it isnt so pretty lol.
  8. I know this may sound stupid but I had a serious lag problem and I didnt and still dont know how it occured, but my timing was off. I searched for days and somehow the timing had changed, only by about 6 degrees but was enough to really kill boost. Once like you in the higher gears I would have my boost back properly. May be something you might want to check on. Cant hurt right?
  9. BG makes a good line of products to clean out your fuel system you might want to try and look them up, they have the whole nine yards, intake cleaner, injector and one for the gas tank, pretty good stuff. Here is a link to theyre product line if you would like to learn more about them. http://www.bgprod.com/products/fuelair.html
  10. Porsche 944 ic's are supposed to be good for 350 hp, and are bar and plate as well!
  11. I have to admit I love the YZ flares they look good without looking like to much of a flare and still keep the lines of the Z wihtout making it look like something else. Great work on the car and I can see its coming along great. I just have one question, how are you going to keep it on the road if you couldnt before. LOL
  12. EZ-E

    Supra engine?

Aux that was totally classic lol.
  13. Well I will tell you this, I was amazed at what a 91 Civic hatchback with a 60-1 and a bit of work was running low 12's at the track consistently all night long. Quit an amazing lil car.
  14. Yasin I remember your truck, the nicest Datsun truck that Ive ever seen, and I would have given my left nut to own that one, you did one hell of a job on that truck I would have loved to have been the person who could have purchased it.
  15. I agree great job and I always like the do it yourselfer, who goes out on the limb to do what needs to get done hiself. Good work!!
  16. I would agree, no priming or prep is needed if the paint underneath is needed. I used duouble sided tape and it is true not all is created equal, to hold it in place and position it where I needed, then at the wheel wells drilled, bolted and nutted, the pieces together. Its held together for over two years now without fail.
  17. That is one extremely beautiful Z car. I completly love it.
  18. I would love a copy and I dont have a dual deck but I do have two VCRs so I could still do it, though. Please count me in as well.
  19. Dat240 wins a prize you are correct sir, that is Dattos Z and skyline, I knew if I heard the name I would remember it.
  20. You cant put it any better then that, the outlet on the T3 is 2.25 inches I believe if I remember correctly, so what would the 3 straight off really help, I think I would go with the 2.5 dp and then go to 3 and leave it at that.
  21. Jamie is right I cant recall his name either but hes from San Diego, always loved his 240 and loved that skyline he picked up as well.
  22. That is true what 81 Na says, with the tops out it feels like its really wobbly, I have had a Supra in the past with the targa top and it wasnt as bad of a feel though you completely notice the difference with them out.
