  1. All the help you need http://www.jagsthatrun.com/
  2. The best way to fix it is to either tighten the fitting, assuming it is loose. If not loose get another brass fitting that goes on the end of the plastic hose ( a compresion fitting) and cut the end of the hose off that is deformed by the old compression fitting and replace. Get the compression fitting from the place you got the gauges from. I'm pretty sure summit and jegs carry them. Mark
  3. Way back when, I removed the booster on my 72 for auto cross. Kept the same master. Worked fine. Hade to make a few parts to get it all to work but it solved the same problem that you are having.
  4. Can't do this until the open borders are addressed. 3000+ illegals crossing at the southern borders and not all are mexicans. And on a side note, I feel much safer knowing Cat Stevens was kicked out of our country. : Mark
  5. Check the voltage at the pump to confirm that the pump is not getting power. Mark
  6. Charlie can get you a reproduction piece that will work very nicely. http://www.datsunzparts.com/start.htm Great guy, give him a call
  7. I used the stock Datsun shifter and a cable. I cut another notch in the shifter gate and used this for the 1st position. Worked great and looked stock. Mark
  8. Glad you found some glass. Let me know if you need some other parts. I have a few laying around.

  11. John, you know there is a track day the 17th at CMP. That would be a great place to let Spillman drive his old car. You going?
  12. David, Good to see you are still around. Hope all is well. Mark
  13. Sorry, No pics and the car is running well and hopefully will continue to do so. If I have a need to pull the cell out again, I'll take some pics. Mark
  14. I just had a sump in the tank, no holes to baffle. It was OK on the street but on the track (road course) I had to run over half a tank for a good run and below a quarter it was horrible, only ran in the straights. For the surge tank I used the mothod in the JTR manual. Secondary pump runs all the time but I can hardly hear it over the exhaust Lines run as follows, tank outlet to secondary pump to inlet on surge tank (at the top of the tank) outlet from the bottom of the surge tank to the fuel injection pump, to fuel rail on lt-1, return line from fuel injection rail to surge tank, return line from top of surge tank to the return line in the main tank. Hope that helps If the car was not used on the track I think I woould have been OK without the surge tank. Mark
  15. In my experience and I'm sure others will disagree with me but, I tried the sump and still had fuel starvation at a quarter of a tank or less. I'm running and lt-1 with heads and cam, sounds similar to what you will have. I ended up with a surge tank and a secondary pump to feed the surge tank. I can run the tank dry with no fuel starvation problems. As a reference this car is used for weekend drives and lots of track days. Mark
  16. What a cool summer job. Beats the crap out of my summers spent in the cotton mill.
  17. Those are the spots but good luck on no trial fit. I had mine in and out about 10 times. Mark
  18. I mounted mine in the car on the passengers side just in front of the door hinges in the foot well. Kept stock lengths of the harness wiring. Hope that helps.

    NEW RIDE!

The car was at the local Porsche dealer in Charlotte. It was the comming out party for the GT and the new 911. The engine sounded wicked. Really a race car with a tag. The owner of the car was never far from it. I was amazed at the lack of respect people have for stuff. Guys with a beer in one hand and a cigarette in the other leaning all over the car. I'm sure there was beer spilt in the car and ashes on the seats. Unreal. But I did enjoy seeing the car and I got a great pic with my kid posing with the models. Talk about sensory overload for a 15 year old
  20. I ran a stock 280z pump with my stock lt-1 for several years with no issues. Mark
