  4. Another 15 to 20 hours worth of work and probably it will move under it's own power. But at 20 or 30 minutes at a time who knows when.

  7. Thanks, Lone. Car is s30. 72 240 Z. I sent the stock LS-1 harness to be modified. All emissions removed, its a track car. Only a few wires to connect to make it all work. Mark
  8. I sent my stock harness to them to be modified. Looks great and best of all, It works!
  9. I had the engine in the car for a while and finally got the fuel system plumbed. Dug the speartech modified wiring harness out from under the pile of parts in my basement and hooked everything up. Poured a gallon of gas in the fuel cell, primed it several times to get the air out of the lines and it cranked the first time! I've found most of my answers to my many questions here and wanted to say thanks to all the guys who have done this before me. Also, Does the fuel pressure regulator need a vacume signal for a NA ls-1? I'm using the aeromotive regulator. Thanks, Mark

  12. Spend money now on the brakes and suspension. Do not buy a bunch of bolt on stuff from msa that won't work when you do the swap. Get the car handling well and looking good and enjoy it. 19 and working at a pet shop, you really don't need to drop a bundle on a swap. I know that is not what you want to hear but it is the father comming out in me. Good luck in what ever you choose to do. Mark

  14. Check to see if the frame rails are still welded to the floor pans. After a few years of auto Xing my 240, the frame rails began to pop the spot welds. Easy fix but you should look. mark
  15. Dot 5 is silicon based fulid. Don't use it. It is not compatable with other fluids and from what I hear it loves to soak up moisture. Use a good quality dot 4 brake fluid. If you are doing track events look for something like motul, high wet and dry boiling points, if this is just a street driven car, vavoline makes a good all around fluid. I've used it for track events with reasonable results but now use motul for the track. Mark

  19. The control arms mount with out bushings, they use rod ends. I've got a set on a car I'm doing now but not on the road. Based on passed experience with Mike Kelly's control arms that mount is a similar way, It's not the control arm mounting points that cause harshness. I think a change to solid mounted TC rods would be the cause of most of the harshness. Not sure but I bet you could use some type of isolator on the TC rod to help with the harshness. Give Dave a call and ask him if you could use the stock TC bushing on his control arms.

  21. I've had the wrap on two sets of headers. Both turned to swiss cheese in about two years. Numerous leaks, metal got very brittle and rusted like crazy. Mark

  23. I'm the boss so I surf but I don't let my employees surf. I lock out the internet on there stations. I'm such a hypocrite Mark
