  1. wow this motor sounds euphoric. all i know is that its a stroked 3.2 with triples in a 240z. anyone know who owns it? http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-2382048404444900926&q=datsun http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-7723901151277431646&q=datsun specs: ld28 block and crank, tripple 45mm carbs, big cam, big valves, knifedge crank, lightend flywheel, header, 6" long rods, 90mm ka24 pistons. this engine will see 8k rpm np!
  2. oh crap.. haha i didn't read Mikes post about it being you lol! i just thought it was some random dude and his little brother! (i pictured you being a little older) anyway, hopefully you didnt take that as an insult!
  3. hahaha.. well i wouldn't describe it as being funny but check out David Elsewhere, whose skill is greater by about... 100000000 times. http://www.kzn.co.nz/Lists/Announcements/Attachments/4/kolla2003.wmv http://www.devilducky.com/media/13782/ and my favorite: http://image.guardian.co.uk/sys-video/Media/video/2005/01/27/golfgti.mov a recreation of Gene Kelley with 2 other guys. after seeing this guy, anyone else just sucks in comparison!
  4. i just wonder... what in the hell were they thinking? i mean.. what really goes on in this person's head???

  6. nice sounds like a turbo diesel F250 in one scene lol
  7. or is there a way to use the factory ones? they are side mount seats and i would like to maintain the ability to slide forward and backward. any advice? thanks! here is the seat:
  8. beautiful! keep up the good work man!
  9. i know a guy in town (cousin of a close friend) that sells Dickie at his store, maybe we can get a group deal from him?
  10. i just signed up for a class for MIG (though TIG is available) and will hold off on buying until I try the course out to see whether I'll like a MIG or TIG better. There are 3 courses available, which would you take? 1) Intro to welding through various processes 2) Intro to MIG 3) Intro to TIG ALSO, concerning helmets... anyone have an opinion of the chin strap controlled helmet? http://www.accustrike.com/
  11. NICE wish i had a garage like that!
  12. not a hybrid, but another sick volvo, at least i think thats what it is!
  13. thanks for the tips guys, i'll definately keep looking then. hopefully a nice used unit will turn up. i'll be looking for a 180amp unit (MIG) btw, another great link: http://www.aussieweld.com.au/arcwelding/index.htm
  14. saw a Lincoln Pro Mig 135... any thoughts on this? whats the diff between the "Plus" model and the "Pro"?
  15. thanks for the input. sounds like the miller sounds like a great choice then. lookin for some refurb'd units... hoping to score one under $500 =) i still need the helmet, gloves, gas, some wire and a grinder at the very least. ouch.
  16. Looking at the Hobart Handler 140 , the Millermatic 140 MIG, and the Lincoln 135. What would you guys pick and why? I'm looking for a unit that is easy to learn with, durable, and something that can handle my eventual growth in skill. Thanks in advance!
  17. i love that color! sweet! (p.s. i'm getting the same proxy error)
  18. i'd highly recommend the Kumho Ecsta MX too... pretty much the same performance of the Michelin Pilot Sport but a helluva lot less. a guy at Firestone tried to sell me the "Wide Oval", he said its almost on par with the Bridgestone Potenza S03 PP and better than the MX... who knows if thats true but the Kumho is a proven tire and they are a great price to boot. i think that sucks what that seller did to ya man but i think technically, he has every right to do that as long as it is listed somewhere in there in the description. many people put in the title different things to attract people to look, but list what you are actually bidding on in the description. what sucks is, technically you agreed to his terms, no matter how shady he was about it and he may not budge an inch (he was a prick to do it in the first place, knowing what would happen so i dont know how much he'll try to appease you)
  19. i have something similar to those.. you can also go to http://www.racemirrors.com and i believe http://www.miatamania.com and of course ebay. there are some 1 lb. mirrors and some 2 lb. mirrors. these are the mirrors used in the JGTC
  20. kraker_jax, beta motorsports has very high quality stuff. i was about to order a hood from them until i found out how much it was to ship. sending two would cost exactly the same since the cost is mostly in the size and weight of the crate they have to ship it in (the hood weighs nothing).. if you are interested in getting a hood, lets order together and split the shipping? let me know! any other houston area people please feel free.. maybe we can get a group buy going (*cross fingers!*) i'm located in the med center.
  21. good find.. i see quite a few race cars on there so i am guessing the quality is good? can anyone confirm this? i'm definately willing to spend a few extra $$$ on some proven CCW's...
  22. i hope darius doesn't mind... i think he might have the most expensive set here?
  23. most definately. the CCW classics are what i'm hoping to get as well.. those, or some kinesis wheels. i wonder if ross could fab up some center locking hubs? even though for my application, it would be totally unnecessary, that would just be really cool ! the ccw classics look great just get a nice lip and slam it.
  24. this probably doesnt help, but they both look great lol. i think the black will provide good contrast and match up well with the ZG's but don't do a gloss black, do a satin finish as noted above.
