  1. LOL Can anyone get anything from there? I can't even get a reply email, you better believe that if there's not even any contact info, I'm not going to blindly send money.
  2. Have you tried posting on LS1tech? There are 1000:1 t56 clutch system hydraulics experts there vs here.
  3. How much of a spacer is needed for the rotors? I'd like to get some - if anyone makes some. I'm currently running washers as spacers, and it makes the rotors feel REALLY warped, as the washers didn't crush the same when i torqued the hub to it. Anxiously awaiting.
  4. IDK how easy you can get your hands on an R180, but You might as well put an R200 in it, in my opinion. I also am not sure what all is need to swap one in. A simple search will yield that.
  5. Here is my "modded" clutch pedal "box". I did this so I can reach the adjuster without a stream of four letter words The two nuts against each other are so I can turn the pushrod with a wrench. The other against the pedal is the locknut (obviously). Just thought I'd clarify. Also, even though I fixed the pedal side that had an oval hole, the clevis needs similar treatment (replacement)
  6. Ok. Where can I get some different stops at? I dno't really want to raise the car, as I think it'll look out of place. And spring rates... eh, I think pre-bump stop ride quality might suffer. I might get froggy sometime and raise the car up an inch and see how it rides.
  7. I'm running the MSA type 2 IIRC, with the 9.5" wheels all around. I had to cut a LOT out of the air dam. Like 2.5".
  8. These are not progressive rate springs. I'm running the bump stops provided in the full bushing kit. It is possible that the car is bottoming out, but when I run on 1 or 2, it seems to bounce TERRIBLY. Like it just gets in rythem and stays there.
  9. that turbo kit looks familiar - slammed78's. What trans are you going with? Also, are the internals of the z31T shafts and the 5 bolt cv joints the same? Interested to hear how you like the vlsd. I'm definitely not in love with my welded diff, but its tough, and its $1000 for a clsd... so i can deal with it.
  10. Thats cool, I didnt know ford was still in the I6 game
  11. Also, as long as I'm whining, the front end on this thing is SQUEAKY. Everytime the control arm moves, it squeaks. Both sides. Sounds like metal on metal almost. Yes I greased the poly bushings - liberally. As well as the tie rod ends and ball joints. Only other thought was maybe the heim joints on the TC rods? Usually those rattle and don't squeak though....
  12. I'm hoping for a 10.99, as this car will shine in the big end I have a feeling.
  13. Well I do all my robberies in the winter. Hence the term winter skin. Traction can be a bit dicey in the snow though. Hopefully the 280 does better than my last getaway vehicle. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cpx93hEKgig
  14. Stock bottom end LS1 - 346" 11.3:1 CR - runs on 91 pump AFR 205 heads - 62cc chambers Vengeance VRX4 cam - 228/230 .588/.592 on a 112* Fast 90 Intake / Nick Williams 92mm TB Supporting Valvetrain We guess it makes about 450 to the tires. Not a radical setup by anyones standard, but it has TORQUE everywhere. I can put it in 6th at 1000rpms, and just roll into it with no issues. Very driveable.
  15. Any more progress on this? I'd be curious to know what sort of strut setup you'd use. Someone should buy just the fabricated lower pieces of Techno Toy Tuning's rear end setup. I believe that allows you to use the Z32 stub axles, and then have a custom half shaft made from that companion flange to the ford stuff. Someone should do this. Better yet, someone should make a KIT for this to be done. I can't believe how much time / resources have been spent on adapting nissan stuff to work for the S30, when the ford parts are just plain and simple stronger, more readily available, and MUCH more affordable. Oh, and If someone does do this, PLEASE center the damn wheel in the wheel well. That bugs me every time I look at an S30 But who would want to put non-nissan parts on an S30? Gross.
  16. Looks good. I'm sure you've probably seen it, but there have been entire cars plasti-dipped. Sounds like winter skin to me!
  17. Ok, I'll get some up. Hopefully I can get some of the dragstrip passes up soon as well. That might take some prodding for my buddy haha.
  18. I was going to do the q45 swap.. until i couldn't find anyone to make me those end caps.
  19. Well the track is a lot different than the poorly engineered concrete street with joints every 20', so i can't even make a comparison. There is almost zero preload on the springs. Its not hitting bump stops (i don't think). PSI is around 35#
  20. Its all just raw footage. He hasnt edited it yet.
  21. Yeah, I tried a couple different settings on the shocks, but it didnt really matter as the track just plain wouldn't hold it. even the big tire cars were having issues. I can't wait to go somewhere that will have "pull your shoes off" prep.
