  1. Should be a part number hs8799pt for the F54 block.
  2. Wow, Cairo Georgia, I haven't been through there in many years. The head gaskets are the same to my knowledge. Should be a part number hs8799pt.
  3. I have an update. For the sloppy 2-3 shift I installed a transgo shift kit part number 700-2-3 and a .500" boost valve. The kit did not recommend the .500" boost valve but that was all that was available and it works great.
  4. It's a pullup resister to produce a square wave output from the turbo dizzy.
  5. Is the car ready for an engine yet? You have a lot more than you need to do what you want.
  6. I had this problem. There was water in my gauge. I just blew it out and was fine.
  7. No. I can get one. It runs pretty bad now. Matt said I should make a new tune from scratch and see if I have the problem with the stim.
  8. I don't think it's possible to have slipped. It slides on...IIRC... the turbo dizzy has a screw in the rotor.
  9. You have to save your tune. Start TS and go to top left and click save tune as. Then it will be saved to your computer.
  10. Sure...I have a tool that verifies blown head gaskets. Call my shop tomorrow 404-822-7035. Thanks
  11. Oh, I just noticed you are in Atlanta. Let me know if you need work done. I have a shop sort of close by.
  12. Lol. There's more info on the engine than the contraption it's housed in.
  13. Follow my post # 85 to diagnose your problem. You can mount Q16 elsewhere, just make sure it's isolated from ground. You should be using D14. motomanmike: If you are not using D14 that could be your problem.
  14. I'd like to measure my P90a M cam. I bet I get about the same valve lift.
  15. Are you talking about inches or millimeters? 0.1inches more lift in a cam is very noticeable in drive-ability.
  16. The cam isn't worn... I stated the valve lift figures were inaccurate, not the entire chart. Has anyone here actually measured valve lift or is everyone completely relying on that chart?
  17. I'm not measuring the cam, I'm measuring valve lift with a dial indicator. 0.010" lash intake/ 0.012" exhaust
  18. It's a common problem with the hydraulic lifters. Get the engine oil hot and change the oil and filter. Use a good filter like a Wix. Avoid cheap oil filters such as Fram.
  19. Just saw this. Thought it was funny. http://macon.craigslist.org/bfs/3529368279.html
  20. If your intake is getting too hot you need some heat shields in there. My intake stays fairly cool.
  21. I'm measuring .385"/.390" from an A cam. 9.78mm/9.91mm Which would make it no better than the "tiny" M cam
  22. The valve lift figures from that chart are completely inaccurate.
  23. Oops! Probably blamed on mistaken pedal identity.
