  1. Cool thanks, I had actually just gotten done reading that ITB thread. All very nice products and all VERY expensive. Seems like a of money for one but I'll have to see what I can build first. Thanks, Tyson
  2. Awesome thanks a lot guys for the ideas, I've got a lot of research to do. Thanks, Tyson
  3. Anyone else have any comments or suggestions? Any book suggestions or reading on this? Thanks Tyson
  4. Yeah, I've been looking at the Fuel injection throttle bodies, but of course there is no cost listed. Depending on cost they might work out, but I was looking more toward the lesser expensive options. And yes for the LS1 is a completely different ball game for manifolds in comparison to SBC's. I don't think having 4 of these are going to cheap: Thanks, Tyson
  5. Redline doesn't make a kit for the LS1, nor does TWM, Tweakit.com, the only place I've ever seen make a kit for the LS1 is in australia and it goes for 3.5k. Although a "kit" would be cool, like I said I've never seen one for the LS1 stateside. Tyson
  6. Okay, I've been working on my LS1 swap for a while (actually just collecting parts) and I came across a video for ITB's on a Holden with an LS2. I've been playing around with some sand casting and such so I would be able to cast my own manifold. What my question is, how should I do the throttle bodies either carbed or FI? I've been looking at Weber Carbs and running them, which isn't a bad option. I've also been looking at used motorcycle Throttle bodies and possibly running them. What I don't know is what size (mm) would be sufficient to power a mild LS1? You can get weber 42mm carbs for fairly inexpensive but is a 42mm enough to power a V8? I'm welcome to any suggestions for building an ITB setup. Here is the link to the holden: http://users3.ev1.net/~black_ops/video/242-106.mpg Thanks a lot, Tyson
  7. Looking good Peej, looks almost as if you have more room than the actual 350z engine bay. Very nice fit, still almost want to sell my LS1 for a VQ35. Keep us updated. Tyson
  8. PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT DELL!!!!! We (my family and I) have owned 6 all have crashed within the first 6 months of ownership. And some of these were not even hooked up to the internet, go with alienware or anything other than dell. Again just my opinion. Tyson
  9. Buy a Mac and be done with it. Unless you actually need windows for a particular program, macs are the most user friendly computers you can buy. Just my opinion. Oh and I don't like most of the Virus scanners for my other PC's (I have 3 others), McAfee is a RAM whore and haven't found anything else that I really like.
  10. Here's a pic of a 6 point harness, though I don't know where the bottom halfs would mount either. Tyson
  11. Damn that is some serious power very nicely done! Can't wait to see it will all the little quirks figured out. Tyson
  12. Kinda off topic, what is a good price range for those celicas? I love them, but can't ever find them on Craigslist. Any suggestions? Tyson
  13. Thats hot, I want your hood, so sell it to me now!!! or at least the scoop, c'mon you don't really like its true. Car looks good though, nice pics. Tyson
  14. Always fun watching your videos Big-phil. Car sounds pretty damn nasty on the first fire up, nice and deep sounding. Tyson

  18. Looking really good, what type of flares are those? Also what color are you going to paint it? Tyson
  19. Okay so I just got done emailing with Tom, something I had not know was that his mother had passed away. Which to me is a legitate reason for lack of communication, we've worked everything out and I have a g-nose and fg hood coming along. So i'm excited!!! Back to my orignal ZG Flared, G-nose Z. Tyson
  20. Well I'm about 6k worth of parts for mine. That doesn't include exhaust, wiring, driveshaft. The parts you need are decided by the parts you get from your LS1 combo. But basically you'll need the motor, trans, Broken Kitty trans/motor mounts, radiator, wiring harness, driveshaft, headers/exhaust, fuel system of some sort. It all adds up quick, it also depends if you are going to upgrade anything else, suspension, rear-end, guages, etc. etc. There isn't a definite answer for what does it cost, its all based on what you can afford and what you have. Just search a little more there is a long running thread of "how much did it cost" you should check it out. Tyson
  21. Oh sweet jeebus. Very basic questions, use the search function, read the rules and FAQ's. Search before you ask, you'll go a lot further around here. Tyson
  22. Hey no problem. It was 73 for a while then I think we had the 30yr rolling exemption for about 2 years before it was gotten rid of, which puts us at 75. Take your time looking for a Z car though, really be careful. A good price isn't always the best deal nor is the high price. I spent a good 5 years looking for mine, while gather information from this board. I literally went all across the board for motor swaps, to prebuilt motorswaped cars, partial projects, complete projects, there are a lot of options out there. I ended up going with the "some one lost interest in their project" and that has worked out well for me. If you can resist the infamous "while I'm at it" you can get a really good stock or slightly modified Z for a good price. Best of luck in the search, Tyson
  23. Fist off you year can be up to 75 for smog cut off. I'm only 6'1" and I have not fitment problems, my brother however is 6'6" tall and he was close but no uncomfortably close. You can do a couple of things like lower the seat if you still feel like you are too close. Welcome to the board, just continue to search and use the resources of the board. Good luck, Tyson
