  1. Just a Small update. Got my paint guns and air powered body sander. The Guns are StartingLine by Devilbliss, they look to be good quality and will work out well for my first set of guns. The only downfall so far for these guns is that they require 13cfm @ 30psi. They body sander, well is just cheap mostly plastic, had to use the vise grips to be able to get the pad holder off the first time me and my dad had to literally use our entire body weight to twist it off. Also the Air inlet plug is completely made of plastic, so I'm going to get the right size fitting and NEVER remove it because I don't strip it. It was CHEAP and I got a CHEAP product (go figure) but it will serve its purpose of stripping, and occasional sanding. Now to the pics: Tyson
  2. I had thought about it a long time ago. Still might do it on an all show Z. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=106709&highlight=air Hope it helps, Tyson
  3. Search for a member on here named Cyrus, he has a really good thread about his swap. Also search for Z-Gad, their pics should be able to help you out. That should be a good starting point. You will most likely have to clearance a little bit in the tranny tunnel. A custom driveshift will be in order weather it be a cut 260 drive shaft or one off. As for mounting again, SEARCH the site should give you some good ideas on how to do it. Almost all you questions can be answered through some searching. Another note are you sure its a 5-speed I thought all the 2JZ-GTE's stateside had 6 speeds? I could be wrong. Best of luck, Tyson
  4. I just got back from Vegas a little while ago, been to several of the shows there (not at once). My favorites of the ones I've seen have been KA, Mystere, Phantom of the Opera, Blue Man. I have been disappointed by Zumanity (horrible cabare things), Mama Mia, O (not horrible only okay), Danny Gains is okay, and the Comedy Clubs are kind of hit or miss sometimes. Also the Ferrari Dealership at the Wynn isn't really worth the $10 considering you can't get closer than 5ft to ANY car, can't take pictures, and constantly have some guy breathing down your next to make sure you don't "touch the velvet rope." I enjoy Vegas a lot, I enjoy all the food, the atmosphere, the good shows, and gambling a little. "Love" will be on the next trip around, just my opinion about the shows at Vegas. Tyson
  5. I copied his specs 17x9.5 with a 5" backspace, I'm quite happy with the size and look, however you'd have to give them a good once over polish if you going for a lot of bling. Tyson
  6. Looking good Cozy, just curious how is the vision on the passenger mirror with that big cowl? Nice ride. Tyson
  7. WAIT.... are you telling me there are actually other car sites? I call BS all you need is on here... I'll take my ignorance and live in Hybridz bliss.
  8. Okay, so still haven't been cleared from my 3rd knee sugery to start working on my car. Its okay I guess, lacking garage space to start doing much anyways and build time will be cut down just because I have so many damn parts now. One thing not pictured is my JCI motor mounts modified for powersteering rack. ZG flares and BRE spoiler are on their way, trying to decided if I want to do an G-nose with an MSA air-dam underneath. There is a purple one I remember seeing on here once possibly from RacerX or Alan. So its been like christmas around here new parts almost everyday, celebrated the 21st b-day in vegas, and got a pretty cool Datsun racing jacket albeit in a Nissan Symbol . Color has been changed from Subaru blue to, Corvette Z06 Millenium Silver. Enjoy the pics Centerline Big Surs 17x9.5 with 5" bs New style hood vents for the 280z hood. (I'm impressed with the of the part) Austins ZG Bolt and Welting Kit Fender Mirrors (thanks from to Dewayne) Tyson
  9. LOOKING GOOD MIKE!!!!! I've been hearing little snippets about how wicked your RX-7 was going to be. Great looking car, and clean swap as usual. Now lets just get a video of you and Ulises lineing up . Tyson
  10. I had thought about doing this with the Duramax diesel in my truck, whenever it gave out and needed an overhaul. The main problems that I've run into is, SIZE, most of these things are large in size and in large trucks. Another thing is the weight, your dealing with a thick cast iron block, heads, etc. etc. While they can make tons of TQ and HP, like you said with simple mods. I think it would be great for a dragster, but not much good for many other applications. Just my $.02 Tyson
  11. PM man and I'll head over with my digi cam, take some pics for ya. I'm working fri-sun, but I'm free most of tomorrow. Tyson
  12. That car has been listed several times, about once a month IIRC. Never been sold, just be careful. Tyson
