Okay, so my dad recommends this product: Planet top x by mapie. He said its a water based and will dry in a couple hours and fill your chips no problem. Somewhere in Toronto they should carrying it, its an international company and pretty popular for carry all sizes, huge industrial to small garage quantities. After speaking with him, he said if you were willing to add more than 2" inches you could apply a top layer of concrete no problem. I don't know how big your garage is, but for about a single car garage you'd be looking at around $1k to have it poured, stained, and polished/sealed. Hope this helps!

How big are the chips/cracks? I'd stay away from laying down more concrete. You aren't going to get very good adhesion to the bottom (original) slab and its going to crack more if you don't lay down a slab more than 2". Again depending on the size of chips and cracks you should be able to fill with a concrete epoxy resin. I'll have to ask my dad what he thinks the best way to do it (commercial concrete contractor). I'll post again later on today for you. Additionally if you've never laid concrete or finished concrete, I highly recommend you stay away from it if you can. Tyson

Looks good, might be the angle of the spoiler but it looks a little shifted to the passenger side. I've always liked the side stripes going just above the rocker panels, might look into those as an option as well.

I'd say you need an ECM flash/tuner to make sure thats working correct. Figure out whats throwing your "check engine" code. The fans could be bad wiring to them causing the to "cut in and out." However that could also be resolved with the ECM and wiring check. I don't know of any good shops, but I know the feeling when the shop was supposed to do the work, did a crappy job. I'd take it to someone else, or send the ECM off to a tuner. Also check out the thirdgen forums and ls1tech, both have a lot of information on your exact swap. Good luck!!

I've seen you use this word several times now, asked my english major wife, and we still couldn't figure it out. Finally google/wiki to the save. For everyone else here's the meaning of that word. It seems as if a basic program could control something similar to a stepper motor. The stepper motor would act as your actuator. One of those at "x"-RPM open "Y" amount.

Grim check out Gollums post in the High Revving V8 thread. He talks about the Honda VFR800 which seems like could be a killer little V4. A little google research and most people show you can get close to 200 hp with a supercharger. Probably more with internals, cams, turbo's, etc. But the weight savings could be killer, not to mention mounting the engine way close to the firewall. I think it would be an awesome project if you could prep it and make it super light, CF/FG, no interior, etc. It'd be quick, peppy, sound good, and handle like none other!

Just for some information about containers. You can buy 45ft by 8ft containers (Sea-trains remanufactured) for around 2800 to 4500 shipped to your location. Rough measurements you can get about 6 Z's stacked in one container. So you figure you get 6 people thats only 466 per person to get the container thats assuming you shipped over a full six cars. Any one have any ideas as to how much it would cost to ship a seatrain from Japan to America or vice versa? There's gotta be some Japanese people wanting some cars from our Junkyards yeah?
