  1. Yea I thought about that so i left about an inch on the mounting tab so i can move them back and side a screen in there if i want later.
  2. Well, thanks to my ADD I didn't get much done today, lots of tinkering but i did manage to get the oil coolers mounted up, glad that's over, I hate fiber-glassing. They are kinda small but i think it will be ok. 3" tall x 7.5 wide x 2 thick X2. I will probably make brake ducts on the back side of them once she is up and running.
  3. As long as you can get it to hook up.
  4. Cops love that sound too.
  5. Doing some more mockup today. Looks like everything clears fine. Downpipe has plenty of room, cept for the closed loop part.
  6. the 4" pipe fits fine, but not it has a flange for the wastegate that hits the shaft, ill take pics later today.
  7. Went to the customs office today and got my paperwork done in about 5 mins. Wow, I was impressed. Got the manifold mocked up. Looks like the steering shaft hits the closed loop section. Gonna have to redo that. Forgot to take pics of the downpipe but wow 4" looks sweeet. This is mocked up on the RB26 block so i just shimmed it 36mm. Gonna see if i can clock the turbo like this, will have to get a super tight 90 and also cut the housing as short as i can and weld it.
  8. Shipment is airborne... Cant wait. Pic of the manifold attached.
  9. Did you bench bleed the master? Sorry havent read all the updates.
  10. I had them made here locally. I do a lot of business with them so when I actaully had something simple they were shocked. Its just braided line with a teflon outer shell too.
  11. I havent driven a 240z with the stock brakes so i dont know. The 280z booster is bigger than the 240 and 260. The 15/16 is the only master i have ever ran. I do have a proportional wilwood valve but i have not yet installed it. I haven't hit the brakes hard enough to lock any of them yet although i have hit them pretty damn hard. But with these huge wilwoods and the smaller z32 disks its probably about right anyway. Before I track the car I will install the valve though.
  12. why not just weld on ears and mount another independent hydro caliper? Odds of 2 failing, then it was just meant to be.
  13. Some RB26 Aperture for ya. Measuring depth of thread in the head. Measured length vs effected oem cam tower bolts. Wow. Yup 7mm more thread on the Tomei Studs.
  14. Its just a cheap replacement part then?
  15. Yea the aem can map all kinds of input signals to an output which i can connect to a sensor. Guess I am just going to need a sensor chart.
  16. I think this topic is moot. Just a place where dreams come to die
  17. That's what I am trying to figure out before I order mine. My ECU get the vehicle speed from the gear. Just trying to figure out how i map that to an output.
  18. Flip though my build there there is probably one there.
  19. Its the Gen II Mini with defrost and heat.
  20. What was the time frame on your harness? I ordered a Chase Bays custom 3-5 weeks.
  21. Mine is a different color but it does look like that. They probably ohm out differently. Voltages should be in the service manual.
  22. Yes that is the IAT. You dont have to use the stock one but if you have it, might as well. You can use any sensor as long as you have the Voltage chart on it.
  23. I dont have enough clearance for a power rack with my rb swap. But its RB30 with a 26 head so the deck height is taller to fit under the hood.
