  1. Modern Motorsports had some but Ross seems pretty unreliable these days from what I hear. I put the T3 r230 rear in mine and love it. I did put 4.11 gears from richmond racing gears in it. That combined with cams is a much much more fun car for around my town. That being said you can get the R200 lsd which has the 4.11 to begin with. I would just save up and do the entire rear at some point.

  3. 10K on a RB build is the tip of the iceburg. Hell i have that in a clutch, oil pump and the fuel system on mine... probably more than that.
  4. The N1 turbos are 2860- which when pushed VERY hard you can get around 530. That kind of power is better made with a single turbo. even the 2860-10 are only good for about 800.
  5. If your running that kinda power and an automatic trans, I would think the stall convertor would be pretty insane and would be hard to street it. Not to mention 800whp in a S30 is insane anyway. A dyno queen is one thing but streetablity is another. If you looking at that kind of power i would just do a Rb30 block stroked to a 32 or a straight up rb30 with the 25 or 26 head.

  9. Mother ***** this things is fun. Wow what a difference the cams and 4.11 gears made. Completely different car. Even with lower comp on number 6.
  10. Yep pretty much looks like what I had to do. The driver side was the hardest one in my opinion. The passenger side fits much better, I dont know why, more room in the door though.
  11. Well, I said screw it and put it back together. Still runs like a bat out of hell. Trying to find a good bare head to play with but everything seems a bit to expensive.

  13. Oh, i did a dry and a wet compression test on 6 and it only bumped up by 2-3 psi so i knew it was valve related.
  14. My leakdown gauges are reading retarded, but I knew it was a valve on six so i reopened her and reshimmed it. I must have checked lash 6 times or so before starting it so i dont know how the hell it was so far off. Something must not have been seated correcty or something. Anyway with it relashed the compression went back up to about 122. Still lower the all the others but six was my lowest one in the past. others are about 145. Anyway I put everything back together for the 20th time and im driving it around now. Wow what a difference the 4.11 gears make. I assume most of what I am feeling is the gears, maybe some is the cams but wow, totally different car. I had to retune the fuel and idle alot under 3500 rpm. Blew off the charge pipe on the decel @ 12psi, guess i need another blow off valve. All my pipes have nipples around the the end of the pipe to hold them on there and T-bolt clamps. I am confident that I can do a timing belt in my car in about an hour now. One of my guys said holy crap how did you do that so fast, I said I just used your tools. lol. Anyway I will check the compression on that cylinder when its hot tomorrow. I can still pull the coil wire off that cylinder and not notice a drop in rpm. You can tell it has a cam by the way it idles. More info tomorrow.

  17. Well, didnt get to work on the car much, but i did get the differential gears installed and the diff is ready to go back in. Just gotta put some fluid in her. Hopefully my shims will be here Tues. or Wed. I need to come up with a way to put a differential cooler on the diff i think. I know they had them stock.
  18. I wish I would have checked the lash before I installed them just out of curiosity. I pulled the differential out and am tearing it apart for the 4.11 leader gears and pinion. More to come.
  19. Got the shims last night. Installed everything and still off on 2 lifters... Bahhhh what a pain.

  21. HI mate i can get the shims you need if you can not get them in the US i can mail them no problem , i have a lot in stock but there is a shop just up the road from me that makes them to size for us so its no problem to get them thanks pmc
