  1. Has anyone tried this steering rack bushing? Ebay Link I tried shimming my energy suspension ones but it is still moving some.
  2. I would recommend 4.11 ratio. I have a 3.69 and i dont come out of second until 79mph. 134ish in 3rd and saw whatever the top of 4th was on the dyno. Way to much gear with the R34 trans and 3.69 I think i run out of downforce around the 165+170 range.
  3. What battery are you running? Will that odyssey battery replace a red top optima? My Z is electronically endowed.
  4. It looks like with the right bends you can fit that inside the stock interior panel. Does that seem accurate? If so you could do the stock tank and this... hmmmmm
  5. Where your lugs tight when you took them off? Caliper mounting bolts tight? I have seen caliper mounting bolts loose and make clunking noises. Even if they are snug they will do it. Make sure they are tight...
  6. yup, I did that on my stock hood to clear my intercooler...
  7. I have a red optima battery currently, but I have alot of electronics in my car. No system yet but i probably will put (2) 10" subs in there at some point. I would build a box for it if i where to do it.
  8. Has anyone moved their batter to inside the wheel well, pretty much right under where its mounted in the S30? I need more engine bay room.
  9. Looking good. Im thinking the same color when I go to paint. No time soon.
  10. Go with a LSD right away, save time and work. Mine will light up 17x11s with 180 compound like it was nothing. I couldnt imagine one wheel. Granted mines a rb26 but none the less...
  11. Yea I like the euro ones too. But I kinda like the 2000gt ones too, just for the rareness and me and you have GT-R engines so its kinda ok to do...
  12. Dont have to, but it makes things easier to work with.
  13. Good luck i have been looking for years.
  14. How did you fit 11.5s? Are those the bamf cf flares? They look like the msa ones. i have 17x10.5 on there right now and i have about 1/4 inch of room between the tire and the inner fender so i couldnt possible have any better backspacing. I called John the other day and he is gonna send me some 3.5" lips so they will be 17x11. I think this will completely fill the gap, but if im wrong i would like to know before he sends them out. Do you have any pics of the rear fender flare vs rim width? BTW I love your gas cap, send pics of that too.
  15. Antilag Action. 3k=12psi soft, 16 psi hard
  16. I bought the same thing, i just have it dangling at the moment I will try to install the thing shortly.
  17. Just looking for something decent for a mold.
  18. Fronts are 17x9.5 4.25 bs and rears are 17x10.5 6.25 or 6.5bs. I have AZC front hubs which push out the front ~5/8ths and the rear i have the T3 R230 swap. I think i can fit 11" in the rear but i can run the track out a tad to fill the fenders.
  19. Few updates on the build. Installed HID projector headlights and headlight covers. Man what a difference. Also compounded and clay bared the paint. Man I could not be happier with the results from the clay bar. Simply amazing. I had so much crap impregnated in the paint and it took it right out. I am having T3 make some custom strut housings for me, hopefully be here by wednesday. Should allow to me lower the car another 1/2 inch in the rear and keep good ride quality. As it stands now if i lowered it much more the strut is pretty compressed and ride quality is severely reduced. So we are going to move the mounting tabs up towards about an inch and see what happens. I could do this myself in about 30 mins but hopefully if it works out he can make this an option for the kit. I need to put a groupbuy together for R230 gear. The 3.69 ratio puts me at 80mph in second gear @7800. It is kinda fun to only have to shift once driving around town, but I dont think I need to do 217mph as calaculated by one of these gear calcualtors. Wish I had the downforce and balls to do it... Maybe on a salt flat. Anyway, next up is some seats and a rollbar. Then the Borg Warner EFR should be shipping.
