  1. Whats the interior like? Does it run? Lift the carpet out and poke the floor with a screw driver. The condition of the floor will give you a general idea what the rest of the underbody/rails is like. How much? As little as possible!
  2. :lmao:It happens to us all! This one would be perfect! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Datsun-1970-Datsun-Truck-Pickup-PL521-Better-Than-New_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZ39Q3a1Q7c66Q3a2Q7c65Q3a3Q7c240Q3a1318QQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZitem300256034667QQitemZ300256034667

  6. Was this dash ever completed? If so how about a few pics...please! Ive seen similar designs in hot rods but never in a 240Z. Looks AMAZING! It would also look great covered in leather! My original dash is perfect but if it ever cracks I may copy this design!
  7. So if you go backward were do you place the MAF...the wiper mechanism....how about the air filter?
  8. Backward!?? Its obvious.....angle or move the corner braces down the firewall and run the intake forward. Am I being too simple?

  10. Excellent!!!!! Make sure you make some bucks for your efforts and dont get in trouble at work! Cheers!
  11. Thank you sir...so I can assume that the setup requires this to prevent the halfshafts from over extending.

  18. Come to think of it...I just did the same with my 89 240SX...no intercooler ..just a hot pipe.
  19. Hey!!!!.... you cant suck at life if you picked up a nice looking ZX like that. You must be doing a lot of things right! May I suggest you keep the car and start saving your sheckles for a conversion. Nothing comes for free! Money is important but your blood sweat and tears what makes the difference. V8 are a plenty! and can be had very cheap! Just plan plan and plan. Enjoy the car...save for the engine you want and do the swap yourself. There is nothing like that great feeling you will get when you take it out the first time knowing youve done it yourself! You can count on the Hybridz members to share their knowledge and guide you right!
  20. Wow.....I guess thats one way to handle it....run??? But most members on HybridZ would take a different approach. They would look for the parts and do the swap. This swap has been done thousands of times with great sucess....its an easy swap!...and relatively inexpensive. Use the resources available on this forum and you will be surprised how well you will do and how much fun you will have with your project. Go for it!
  21. Just stumbled upon this on Youtube! Very cool...not sure who is responsible but thanx for the effort and thanx for incluing my ride....it was a very nice surprise. Check it out and see if your Z is there! Cheers
  22. Now that I have my Solstice seats installed Im going to move away from the 4 point style cam lock racing belts to a simpler set up. Ive decided on 3 point retractable belts and will go with on of these manufacturers... http://www.seatbeltsplus.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=sbp&Product_Code=WSCH300&Category_Code=3-Point-Retractable-Seat-Belts http://wescoperformance.stores.yahoo.net/resebe.html http://www.ssnake-oyl.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=Ssnake-Oyl&Category_Code=CSB Im leaning towards SSnake-Oyl because they will customize....I like the satin metal lift release and I may go with yellow stitching. Anyway.....does anyone have experience with any of these companies? Or has anyone recently installed aftermarket 3 point retractables?
  23. Here is a chevette forum that may lead you in the right direction...... http://www.chevettes.com/forum/ and here are a couple of vids, I love this guy doing burnout towards a busy higway!!!! NOT! http://videos.streetfire.net/video/Chevette-SS-350-ricer_36912.htm And this turbo setup is pretty basic!!... cheap right along with your car! All Canadian redneck fun aside.....I wish I could find a car like this for my 16 year son. It would be a great starter car! If you decide to sell her let me know. Cheers!
