I'm sure that the OP would appreciate comments like yours to be accompanied by a visual representation illustrating your point.

skyline240z
Yes, fenders are made and hood is mounted. Progress is slow, had to make every single Molds for this build.
outreach
what were you going to do for headlights, the ones in your design arent z headlights but they seem familiar just can't quite place them in my head.

260DET
Pity that the Z has to be degraded by using Porker parts but they do suit. Good choice.
///M3 & Z
Any progress on your build? I'm local to Vancouver as well and would love to come by and check it out. I'v got an rb26 swapped 240z project slowly going and would be nice to get some inspiration Edited January 2, 2021 by ///M3 & Z made a change

skyline240z
its been a while, got lots of work done on the body.
zeeboost
Looks great, can’t wait to see more pictures of it. Thanks for keeping this thread updated and not abandoning the project. After trying several attempts myself at just trying to build a presentable rear fiberglass spoiler for a widebody 280z of mine, I can definitely appreciate the skill and time required to getting the body lines looking that well-manicured. Keep at it
skyline240z
Thanks zeeboost, I thought no one cares about my build on this site anymore. I'll keep posting then lol. Here's a 3D rendering of the wing and front splitter of the build. Edited April 3, 2023 by skyline240z
calZ
People still care, I just see it here and on Instagram. The forum is really nice as far as documentation and being searchable though. Please keep posting here

jhm
Nice! What kind of mounting points/configuration/hardware do you plan to use? I have a similar concept in mind, but am not as far along as you are.
skyline240z
Just going to run some track rods from the spiltter to the bumper subframe
jhm
So the air dam and splitter will have a shared/combined metal support framework, and that framework will tie into the stock bumper mounting points? Looks pretty solid, but the front crossmember can provide additional hard mounting points should you need it. Nice work!
Fridge Gnome
I like that hatch, the recesses for the hood latches is a nice touch. Any chance you'd be willing to share that 3d scan file? I've been trying to find one for a while.
