Guest Stormcrow
Wow, I can hardly wait for everything to come together and I doubt neither can you.
mull
Pretty much everything is now in place. Have my sights on a pair of 300zx aluminium spindles, complete with brakes, rotors and 5-lug hubs. Last pic is just testing what a 265 wide tire would look like. Henrik och Andreas - aka Huddinge Kustoms : ) Negative camber for teh win. Shocks aren't in proper place, cut spring, no hicas. It's a mess : ) /me is very satisfied with the progress. The shifter seems to have gone astray though : ( Back to the boring garage... Hugo's trying on some new shoes.
Gollum
Hey mull, you might have mentioned this earlier and I missed it, but I looked again and didn't find my answer. So my question is: You said that the cage was going to come out and a different cage would be built. Is that the origonal cage, or the new one that's revised? mull
Hey mull, you might have mentioned this earlier and I missed it, but I looked again and didn't find my answer. So my question is: You said that the cage was going to come out and a different cage would be built. Is that the origonal cage, or the new one that's revised? The first cage came out last october. The present one was installed around the same time. However, lately I've come to realize the new cage wouldn't have suffered from a more flush fit : ( Guess we overestimated the size of the 240z interior. If the floor is lowered by an inch or so, and some remodeling is done to the cage, it might solve the small problem of my head in a helmet vs. the cage. There's always something... : )
Careless
don't worry about the shifter, you can just put a rip cord in there and tug on it might have trouble selecting gears though.
mull
I mostly worry if I'm gonna have to have two or three vertebraes removed and my thighbones shortened to fit in this toy car : P

Gareth
The last part is GREAT! Am I the only one who says "no, please, don't end, I would like the video to continue" every time I see a mull's production?
Kimi
Really really nice to see that the project continues. The videos by mull are great as usual

ab0z
I love the videos - much more entertaining than whatever junk is on the 88 channels of nothing.
mull
Since all of you are saying such nice things about the videos/project I'll do a sneak-premiere of #20 here. I tried uploading it to YouTube but the video/audio sync was way off - so I guess I'm going to have to try converting it to another format than wmv to see if that solves the sync-issue. And since it's 6 am here and my server hero isn't online/awake or at his job I can't supply you guys with a direct download. I'm afraid that for now, Rapidshare is the only option. Just click the link, enter the code and wait =) http://rapidshare.com/files/74384814/mull_hugo20.wmv Edit: YouTube 640x360 http://www.voodoo-people.com/~daz/mull/wmv/mull@hugo20.wmv Enjoy! Forrest
Awesome as always mull. I'm a little confused though, it looks like part 2 is sequentially before part 1?
mull
Awesome as always mull. I'm a little confused though, it looks like part 2 is sequentially before part 1? Thanks! Like #20 should be #19 and the other way around or whaddayamean?
Forrest
Thanks! Like #20 should be #19 and the other way around or whaddayamean? Yes, please keep taping. I don't just use them to motivate myself, I drag other people to the computer and get them all worked up. Anyway, it looks you already have the subframe mounted in 19 and you're adding it in 20? Did it have to be redone?
