  1. It's great to see this project is not only still alive but getting better and better. What plasma cutter did you get? Is it CNC or you cutting by hand?
  2. Great to see another option for CV axles in the Z. Big fan of the simplicity of the swap and the cost. Never understood the custom axles that bolt onto the diff??? I've added these axles into my excel sheet of options for when I finally get my car derivable. So close!!!
  3. Is this a dead end? Anyone get a response?
  4. Nice patch. Had to do the same on mine. Perhaps Datsun knew those panels would be prone to rust and added extra material haha.
  5. That is a great deal. If I had the garage space I'd pick that up for the parts alone and build the chassis up when I finish my 240. Somebody snatch this up before I change my mind!!
  6. That is a great looking paint job. How much did that run?
  7. Amazing build thread. I'm at the same stage myself and it's great to have an example. Did you also do seam sealer caulking or just the spray on sealer?
  8. That exhaust looks great! Where did you source your pipes from? And what coating is that?
  9. Interested in the Tockico Illumina shocks on their own, or just a rear shock. Are these for the 240z or 280z? How much shipped to 29482?
  10. Excited for another solution that fixes the 3 issues on the rears of these cars. LSD, disc brakes, and strong stub axles!! Count me in.
  11. Eastwood makes a paint can specifically for spraying the inside of frames. Eastwood Item #15275Z. When I finish up my chassis I'm buying a box of these puppies and going to town.
  12. Great find!!! Thanks for the heads up. This gives us a great alternative to the brake options out there.
  13. Thanks for the tips. So, without the Turbo badge this car is probably a NA. The junkyard is 2 hours away so I'm going to leave this one be. Thanks again for the help.
  14. This car just showed up at a local yard. Is anyone able to identify if this is a turbo or NA? So far the googles has told me a NA has 15" wheels and the turbo has 16" wheels. Any other changes that could be spotted from the rear?
  15. It feels great to get my fix of Hugo These videos give me the inspiration I need to finish my build.
  16. That blue Z in the front is ridiculously sweet. Clean up, isle 5.
  17. Nice work. The engine looks great. Got lots of work ahead of you... reminds me of my project . Hope your project goes well. Just rember to have fun with it
