alexideways
I'm gonna use mine to lower the capital on the mortgage, this way it'll lower the interests, thus lowering the monthly payments, thus giving me a bit more money every month to spend on the car AND girl friend. Guest Mike
ALEX... Be CAREFUL what the lender "talks you into". They NEVER try to "help you". They ALWAYS try to get more "from you". DON'T TRUST YOUR LENDER... NEVER!!!
alexideways
Don't worry, I did my homework, I took a 20 year loan, but I pay each week instead of each month, cause there's 52 weeks in a year, but there's only 48 weeks in a fiscal year, so this way I save 1 month interest each year, + with my calculations and if I follow my plan rigorously, meaning I use my tax return to lower the capital each year, I'll be able to take that loan down to 11 years... Thanks for being concerned though...
Guest Mike
ALEX... Ahh okay then. When you said, "...it'll lower the interests", I thought you might be considering a new mortgage. If your just paying off the capital, that's great!!
SonOfZZZap
Well, considering that my return is gonna be pretty damn small (been a full time student for about a year and havn't worked much since). I might have 200 bucks... Might be picking up a nintendo Wii... Im debating lol. Will most likely end up saving it.

2003z
I've got $10000 set aside in addition to my withholding from my main job. the PC business has been very good this year, and I haven't paid any estimated taxes on that income. I hope the 10 is enough.

Forrest
I never get anything "back" but I do take the occasion to celebrate my yearly reminder of slavery with ammo purchases. Look, a sale on .50BMG
Two40MuscleZ
With 22 months till I hang up my badge and gun, I decided to take an early retirement! What I should have done with this years return is finish my two Z projects. What I wound up doing was settling for a 7 day Curise with friends! Oh well, its only money. dr_hunt
Well, since my accountant screwed up a couple of years ago, mine goes to pay off the taxes from '05. Being in a successfull business doesn't mean you don't get a refund or necessarily have to pay either. But, that's if you do it right, so that's what I strive for, zero, I don't pay, they don't pay me. Since my wife worked, we got a refund from her income taxes, since she died in '06, I'll still get a refund for last year. But now for '07 that won't happen anymore, since I'll be officially widowed in the IRS's eyes and won't have her income or deductions. Sparks280zt
Out of curiosity, because I have never asked the guy this happens to, why would a buisness owner have to pay $25-35k in taxes every quarter? I guess they make that much money?
280Z Turbo
Paint. My car needs paint and body repairs badly. I'll probably go with the original 301 copper color since I like metallic orange, it's not too expensive and I don't need to worry about painting under the hood (although I should probably do that too!). Z-TARD
I never get anything "back" but I do take the occasion to celebrate my yearly reminder of slavery with ammo purchases. Look, a sale on .50BMG Amen to that. My refund has already been applied to bills, etc. but when I get back from deployment in 8 months I'm going to be getting one of these: http://www.50bmg.net/ EDIT: To be kept in my home state of AZ, of course.
