  1. Thanks . I might have to give it a try .
  2. Yeah . Now I have a back-up pump . LOL
  3. Looks good . Great job ! How's that Phantom Grip working out for you ?
  4. I left my solenoid in and don't have any wires hooked up to it ( AM harness which didn't come with connector for it ) . My plan is to run new wires to the solenoid . Without this function , it's hard to shift into R . Highly rec that you keep this function .
  5. Took the old pump apart and fixed it . The pump motor was not secured tight in the housing . Added an o-ring to keep the motor from rotating . Test ran it for 10 min. and it's all good .
  6. Got a replacement pump today . Ran it for 5 min and it's all good , so far . They do have great customer service , no question asked other then name , phone , and address .
  7. Depends on the noise , I would check all your bushings and u-joints . And make sure everything is tight .
  8. You really don't have to do anything to the rotor after machining other then wash it REALLY good ( prevents squeaking ) . Just make sure the surface doesn't feel like a record .
  9. Any pedal pulsation at high speed ( 55 to 65 with light pedal apply ) ? Does the steering wheel feel shimmy ? Check the rotor surface , look for any sign of chatter during machining .
  10. Man , you need to download FSM . You will have a better understanding of your Z . I wish there's a manual for women .
  11. You can keep your stock regulator if fuel pressure is within spec. Need to check fuel pressure .
  12. Those seats look pretty good in the Z . They have that OE look but more comfy .
  13. My bad . I meant 2 colors like black and grey .
  14. I would stay with Japanese coils , most are very good .
  15. ^^^Agree . Why not tone the interior , black and grey ( like seats ) and do exterior in brighter yellow , black or whatever . My 78 and 91 , both have black interior and I live in Texas , but the 91 has A/C .
  16. At least the problem is solved and didn't have to replace too many fuses .
  17. Here's another method I use to bleed clutch hyd. . First , I don't like to use vac to bleed clutch or brake sytsem , sometimes it creates a vac ( air ) in the system . If you have problem getting air out of the system due hyd line routing , do a back bleed . Meaning , fill a pump or syringe with fluid then force it up from the bottom ( line that goes to slave ) then bleed it the normal way to make sure you get all the air out . This method works very well when hyd lines or pipes that route too high up or too many loops and turns .
  18. Ask him . http://forums.hybridz.org/topic/103413-v8-conversion-for-240z-280z-manual-t5/
  19. Pretty sure you can find it here . You're gonna have to do a little searching .
  20. Have you tried JTR ( JCI ) ? I think MSA also have a V8 kit and I'm not sure about T5 .
  21. IMO , way too much work , mainly rust and ZX interior parts are hard to find and pricey . If you are looking for a ZX , would rec 82 and 83 model . Find one with decent interior . Welcome to HybridZ .
