Any belt slippage with that setup ? Not a whole lot of belt surface contact with pulleys , mainly the crank pulley .

If you are not using the P/S , you'll need an idler pulley ( to take place of the P/S ) .

78 Z was done in Jan 13 , has about 500 miles . Broke front diff mount , converted to RT diff mount . Now I have to redo my motor/trans mounts , RT diff mount threw drivetrain angle off a little ( vibration ) . 83 was done about 2 or 3 yrs ago , rear diff is clunking . Will be converting to solid axle once the turbo 6.0 is built .

Turbo or NA ZX , 2+2 or coupe ? What trans are you running ?

Try Dakota Digital . They have a conversion module .

Current setup is OK . But your CEL will stay on . With it being on , you can't tell when it has other problems ( DTCs ) .

It looks like you are running dual fans setup , modified F body fan assembly . I run mod F body fans on my 83 and single fan ( 3 wires , lo and hi ) on my 78 . You will need 3 relays , as fact switches from series to parallel to get hi and lo speed . A good electrical guy should be able to figure out how to wire it up . Temp on and off can be programmed by your tuner . I'm running 175F T-stat , fan(s) on low at 190F and off at 180F and high on at 200F and off at 180F . PM me if you have any problem .

Those codes won't give you any driveability problems . A tuner should be able to delete them . p0704 and p0803 will not turn on " CEL " but p0480 and p0481 will . Why aren't you using ECM control electric fan(s) ?

It's pretty damn hot in Texas right now and i don't have any issue with vapor lock . . Just can't drive it , need A/C .

If everything was fine before , I'd either put it back the way it was or pinch off the steam hose to see if it goes away . I haven't seen steam hose routes to heater hose before . Originally , it goes to either radiator or coolant bottle . I routed mine to upper hose . Scan your ECM for any DTC .

I bought a gal of satin black a year ago to do my Z then I saw plasti dip on youtube , decided to give it a try . Looks easy enough , less body prep . I'm not paint/body man either but have done some body work and priming . I'm going to do the airdam and rear spoiler first to see this stuff works . Thanks , 280zex .

I have one off an 83 ZXT . The motor has been sitting out in the weather with the cap on it , don't know if it still good . You are better off with the above members .

I can see that . They did a great job . Had to dim down the screen to look at it . LOL .
