  1. Did you do any adjustment to the shoes ? If so , may be too tight . Post some pic of your brakes .
  2. For a 73 , yellow/blue is your ground . Follow your wires to see if one of them changes color .
  3. I just finished mine . On my 78 , green/yellow is ground .
  4. I would go with the LS motor . A lot cheaper in the long run . TPI is performance limited and old tech when compares to LS motor . And with 4K , you can get an average mileage wrecked F body . I rec. a donor car for engine swap because it's way cheaper than piece everything together .
  5. You have to buy it , requires pass code to unlock software . Doesn't cost that much and it's worth the money . You can get a lot of data and test functions , on the Z32 anyway .
  6. It's a Nissan software which requires laptop and Consult connector . Check with Z1 Motorsport , where i got mine . I use it for the Z32 but should work with most Nissan with Consult connector .
  7. Check valve is part of the pump . Check for fuel press. drop after key off .
  8. Blazt is not free and it requires Consult connector .
  9. Sharp Z ! Don't know about over 20K sharp and it doesn't even have an LS . LOL .
  10. OBD II or Consult plug ? Most post 96 Nissan have both . And which software did you get , Blazt ?
  11. Are you running electric fan(s) ?
  12. 180F is low speed and 195F is hi speed ? You have to run T-stat lower than 180F . With out knowing the turn off temp. and if the turn off temp. is lower than T-stat temp. , it could be running all the time once activated . Fan motor(s) won't last long .
  13. Swap your turn signal flasher and hazard flasher and recheck . If that doesn't work , test hazard switch per FSM .
  14. Me too , on the motor mounts and brackets , look great . Might have to redo mine , but using C5 mounts . Noticed that you have a lot more driver side header clearance than mine . Any update ?
  15. Check your hazard switch and double check your work . You can take the switch apart , check and clean all contacts .
  16. So the CTS has dual contacts . Fan operation is base on your T-stat temp. . Use low CTS for low T-stat like 160F . I would go with low temp. here in TX . . What's the fan off temp. ? Didn't see the spec in " Taurus fan " thread .
  17. It looks similar to Subtle Z hood with the sides cut out .
  18. Answer to #2 question is NO . If sensor is designed to detects liquid then it needs to be submerged in liquid . Before answering #4 question , what do you use to control lo and hi speed ?
  19. You need to , at least , remove the oil pump . But you still have to transfer old parts to new chrome cover and set your distributor when intalling . I would rec follow the FSM for instruction , don't see much of a shor tcut here . Good luck .
  20. You can use a regular PCV hose . It's just a crank case breather hose , no flame will come out of the crank case ( hope not ) . You can also pack the hose with coarse steel mesh , make sure it has flow , if that make you feel better .
  21. The diag. a little confusing as far as color code . You should have power ( 12v ) on all but one ( relay ground ) when key on .
