I would go with the LS motor . A lot cheaper in the long run . TPI is performance limited and old tech when compares to LS motor . And with 4K , you can get an average mileage wrecked F body . I rec. a donor car for engine swap because it's way cheaper than piece everything together .
You have to buy it , requires pass code to unlock software . Doesn't cost that much and it's worth the money . You can get a lot of data and test functions , on the Z32 anyway .
It's a Nissan software which requires laptop and Consult connector . Check with Z1 Motorsport , where i got mine . I use it for the Z32 but should work with most Nissan with Consult connector .
180F is low speed and 195F is hi speed ? You have to run T-stat lower than 180F . With out knowing the turn off temp. and if the turn off temp. is lower than T-stat temp. , it could be running all the time once activated . Fan motor(s) won't last long .
Me too , on the motor mounts and brackets , look great . Might have to redo mine , but using C5 mounts . Noticed that you have a lot more driver side header clearance than mine . Any update ?
So the CTS has dual contacts . Fan operation is base on your T-stat temp. . Use low CTS for low T-stat like 160F . I would go with low temp. here in TX . . What's the fan off temp. ? Didn't see the spec in " Taurus fan " thread .
Answer to #2 question is NO . If sensor is designed to detects liquid then it needs to be submerged in liquid . Before answering #4 question , what do you use to control lo and hi speed ?
You need to , at least , remove the oil pump . But you still have to transfer old parts to new chrome cover and set your distributor when intalling . I would rec follow the FSM for instruction , don't see much of a shor tcut here . Good luck .
You can use a regular PCV hose . It's just a crank case breather hose , no flame will come out of the crank case ( hope not ) . You can also pack the hose with coarse steel mesh , make sure it has flow , if that make you feel better .
