  1. i just recieved this package from Japan. tell me what you guys think! i plan to have the T3 flanges welded on instead of the 3 bolt ones. this came with it too: Trust Wastegate.
  2. anyone see that orange one drag racing in japan? search youtube for L28ET and it should come up. its kinda a burnt orange with bronze Volk TE37's...now THATS sexxyness
  3. I just went to a place in LA (near CSLA) and he had really good prices for silicone, pipes, and t-bolt clamps. if your up for a drive i would think it is well worth it. Go to http://www.cxracing.com/ for his info.
  4. with the work some of us have done to our aluminum heads, i dont think that F/T will work
  5. i think that the general census is that dyno numbers are not very important, but the graphs are. you can see low spots and flatness of the curve, and tune the engine to make it as flat as possible.
  6. This right here...not sure what I should do...
  7. i think that at least 1 of arnolds hummers are the old H1's with the diesel in it, now are we gonna compare the emissions standards btwn diesel and gasoline?
  8. if noone will commit, i can send payment by today...im interested but i know there is a line...
  9. if possible, can anyone post pictures of their relay boards? i am interested in particular about the power hookups in the upper right hand corner, next to the injector leads. Thanks all...
  10. my 72 is allllll gooooood . that sucks tho...time to get a 240z then
  11. After picking up my donor 83ZXT auto, I wanted to use the oil cooler on my N42. I took the oil cooler/filter thing that goes onto the block that the oil lines come out of and the filter screws onto...confusing, i know...anyways i wanted to put it on the N42 block that is in the car now so i can run the oil cooler but the block has the male end for the filter and the cooler unit has a male end that screws into the block. can i remove one of these male ends and attach it directly or will this not fit onto the block? also on this "filter relocator" thing, there seems to be holes on the sides for an auxiliary oil feed but they have plugs in them (threaded). does anyone know which side i should use when feeding the turbo? i wanted to take filtered AND cooled oil, will this be possible with one of those holes? will have pics later in case anyone is confused...
  12. I was looking into finding an "affordable" performance clutch for the 225mm flywheel for the L28 and saw that the CA18DET also has a 225mm clutch disk. the flywheel for that engine also has a 6 bolt pattern like the L28. does anyone know for ceartain if this will/will not fit?
  13. HO-LY CRAP. the only thing with that would be that not many people would want to get it dirty! or maybe thats just me. lolz
  14. hes in florida...im in cali...anything below 35 or 40 is extreme cold
  15. what do you have on your car? what base fuel pressure do you run? can someone explain how to setup the consants? (i havent powered up MS yet but in messing with Megatune i get all kinds of messages telling me that my settings are all wrong!)
  16. im with you on the box-to-box assembly vs. college student. although i have a daily driver to use in the meantime, I have a deadline to meet.
  17. would it be feasible to make 6 individual injector blocks and connect with braided/AN? if you were that DIY'er and didnt want to risk making the holes out of measurement.
  18. you and me are at the same stage (regarding the MS, my engine is still not together!) let us (me) know what you do...im confused also!
  19. look into the setup that BRAAP is selling...everything you need! if not, most here would reccomend getting the pre-assembled unit for ease of headaches.
  20. refer to the "super duper mega horsepower gains from the #9 resistor" thread
  21. with an adjustable fuel pressure regulator you could get away with it, not sure how your idle will be affected. you will want to run a lower base pressure than stock.
  22. this might be a form of dual-intercooling...the air charge passes through the core twice? maybe a stretch. ill tell yall how it works out.
  23. why oh WHY didnt you have this for sale a month ago???? this is one fine setup...anyone considering megasquirt, this is the TOP of the line setup with all the hard work done already. BRAAP, let us know where you are heading next!
