  1. Wow....That's damned good info right there. May I use this on another site? Gotta keep that information flowing through the Z community.
  2. It's pretty easy. Just go to http://www.whois.net and type in the domain you want info on. You can also download whois programs for the PC that will give you the same info.
  3. Just publisher. I was really bored today. It's all just pics I had either online or on my computer and putting it all together in Publisher. Thanks again (BTW I added the hot spots and uploaded.)
  4. They are on the home page. Should probably add hot spots on the pics in the project page. Thanks for the input!
  5. Let me guess. White struts with A-Just in red lettering? Yes they're KYB, but they are so bottom line you'd swear they had Made in China written somewhere on them. Very cheap.

    gas?

If you haven't changed the compression ratio with a different head or pistons then stick with regular. Although in the long run the difference between a tank of regular and premium is about $2 a tank. Sometimes it's worth it.
  7. Got bored today and threw together a website. Let me know what you guys think. http://www.freewebs.com/naviathan
  8. Actually, the video quality seems way too good for the original comercials. I wonder if that was a teaser for when Nissan did the factory refurbs on them?
  9. Wow...I was curious who you went through for your domain hosting so I pulled a whois on the name....The amount of information they throw out there is incredible...I'll pull this immediately if you like... (BLEEP) Anyhow, so who did you go through for your domain name?
  10. Horrible english, but I don't see where he can scam anyone with a local pickup.
  11. Has anyone ever comtemplated building a L31 and putting the diesel head and intake and such on it to make a Diesel that would fit in the Z? Might be worth looking into. Or just leave it as a L28, that would be destroking it a lot though. Any thoughts?
  12. This could really be anything. For all we know the bad intake/exhaust gasket was causing a vacuum leak before that was covering up another issue. Now that's fixed the other issue is showing. Could be running rich. Check you plugs for color. You're looking for tan. White is lean and gray/black is rich.
  13. It worked for me. Nice Z in the background ready to stage.
  14. Nice site. Are you using the standard 280ZX 5 speed or the T5?
  15. And brake themselves and tighten the seatbelt anticipating an accident and they're even working on self drive cars so you really won't need any skills at all.
  16. Search for Talking Lady or Bitching Betty. This has been discussed several times.
  17. The steps are basically the same, the only thing you'll need is a flex additive for the paint. Keeps it from cracking and flaking off when the plastic bends of flexes.
  18. Today's cars are like an old man on life support. So many electronics and gadgets making them numb to their surroundings that they can't feel life anymore. In the same respect todays cars don't require any skill to drive because they don't feel the road and neither does the driver. Not to mention the engine compartments look like they're on life support.
  19. badjuj, that's bad juju. Computer fans won't push enough air fast enough through that radiator or pull it for the matter, to cool anything.
  20. There's really not much to the stock belts. Usually what happens is the retractor spring and assembly gets gunked up and it makes it stick causing the saggy effect. Pull the interior panel and yank that seat belt assembly out. You'll see what I'm talking about. Take a can of WD40 and spray the moving assemblies (keep it off the belt as much as possible). Let it soak then take an air hose and spray it out REALLY good to get the gunk out. Then just lube it up with a spray can of white lithium grease and all should be good.
  21. Survival of the fattest...lol That's a new one. With 30+ year old wiring though I'd be concerned with everything. My 77 is getting a whole new custom harness. It's gonna rock...lol
  22. You can't fix the stock seatbelts? They're really simple design. I'm about to pull mine and clean them up and get them retracting properly again. They sag a bit, but still work.
  23. You still end up with the old dry rotted link box, corroded wiring and poor connections. It's a thought, but I'd rather just replace the whole box.

  25. That's good stuff. At least when I do aquire the cash I know I can count on getting a quality piece.
