  1. Well actually you could purchase the 2L roadster trany, swap the bell housing and you got your 5 Spd. It was done by a few owners back in the day! Mongo
  2. Justin, What kind and size of wheels are you replacing? I need wheels for my project and am wondering if you will have them for sale. Mongo Wilsonville, Ore.

  6. I noticed that the pics that have been transfered from the old site are very large on the new. Is there anyway to resize the pics without deleting and reloading them, possibly a group resize? Thanks, Mongo
  7. Heres some pics of my ignition. See #12 http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=152093 Mongo
  8. Some pics of of the Ignition System I have been working on. It is a Ford EDIS/8 system that will be controlled with a "MEGAJOLT" programmable Ignition unit. I made the trigger wheel from an old flexplate and a piece of 10ga. steel. I also shot an pic of the controller.

  15. When separating firecrackers from a long string of them, never assume that you can pinch off the flame from the center fuse with your finger nails. If you are foolish enough to try,for gods sake , NEVER EVER!! do it in the house. Don't ask me why.LOL Mongo
  16. BEWARE!! If you are running R-16 pistons(that's what they appear to be), You absolutely must check piston to valve clearance. I had to flycut my pistons for clearance. Bent valves are very likely otherwise! Mongo
  17. I have done several searchs and have found very little info on the Megajolt lite ignition system. I found nothing on its use on a SBC. Has anyone done this? I quess the MS system is about the same. Should I just use data from that system I am curious about their trigger wheel mount and timing map. Mongo
  18. I can only assume so, I cannot log on either.

  19. The bean counter should have an unfortunate fatal accident! LOL
  20. Here are some pics of my latest work. The first is a pic of my completed front suspension. The next 2 are some pics of my front Anti-Roll Bar . It is from the 180SX that I got my SR20DET from. As you can see, it is a very good fit. And the final pic is of the tie rods I made up, I think they came out pretty good.
  21. I use something similar that uses a automotive circuit breaker instead of fuse. It will save a bunch in fuses and reset itself.
  22. There is a very good chance that any dimension they give you will not be the same yours! Things can move around on any car that age. Probably close, but no cigar.
  23. The Camber curve is adjustable by the length of the a-arm, and the height of the inner pivot point. Using these adjustments should allow me to keep the camber at any point I like, in relation to body roll. Mongo
