  1. I think they are glass. They looked like it, with kind of a green tint through the edge like real glass. about 1/2" think at least on the car wheels.
  2. What a blast! We walked 7.5 hours the first day and about 4 the 2nd, and still don't know if I saw everything! It really is overwhelming once you get there. I think there are about 18 miles of aisles overall! Met up with Mikelly, I think it took about an hour for us to just find each other! Check out the hybrid volvo wagon in the imports section. Its a very nice old wagon with a 5 cylinder current turbo engine. SEMA Pictures
  3. Cruez, They all look awesome! Where is that candy lime green from? Columbia? Do you think it would look good on all the fixtures of my engine, given my car color? Currently getting ready to assemble, and have the block painted black, and all the bolt ons in gunmetal, but I think they are too dark. I did do my oil pan in eastwood lime green though.
  4. sorry, I don't do wheels. I'm happy to do most anything else, just not wheels. I did just take my last rack of parts out of the oven 10 minutes ago though.
  5. $60 is a great price for a single color. The place I refer customers to here is $80 per wheel. Wheels require a lot of work to strip, more than I like, and I'm concerned about future liability if a wheel fails, so I don't do them. If I did, I would have to charge at least 500 per set due to time involved. Chewie, it would probably be costly but you could reduce your costs by doing some of the work yourself. I would Strip Polish Anodize - unless you have removable centers, probably have to do the whole wheel. Mask off the lip and areas you want to keep red and pc the black over the anodized wheel. Sand the anodizing off of the lip and repolish. If you did the stripping/polishing, you would only have to pay for anodizing and pc'ing just a single color.
  6. I can make out the tag on it now that it has been derusted. Whats left of it appears to be Hooker Super Competition.
  7. Try DeWayne, he posts here as DScott@Shouri I'm sure he can hook you up with fair pricing.
  8. I have no idea. It came on the car, and the tag was too rusty to identify it. Until now, its been a turbo engine running SUs and no turbo, so I really can't say how it worked out. It does seem nicely made though.
  9. I'll be there from monday until wed. night for SEMA myself.
  10. yeah, thats Miller Powdercoating in Lilburn, where I send people to have wheels done when they ask me, because I don't like to do wheels. The cost was $175
  11. Indiana, or one of those midwest states that start with an I or O. I know the guy from a powdercoating forum.
  12. I had chris at www.cecoatings.com ceramic coat my rusty old header. First he derusted and cleaned it, then applied silver coating inside and out, tumbled it to polish the inner part of the tubes and coated the outside in black. Before: After:
  13. JWT makes a great kit, but make sure you don't overlook the APS kit either!
  14. 7/16" . I know it seems odd, but fed. regulations mandated that size bolt.
  15. what I really like is 1915 wet, and thats WITH 700 lbs. of ballast!
