  1. Congrats Scotty!! You work FAST!!
  2. Z31 turbo CV's would be the minimum that I would go with with a turbo V8... The u-joints would not stand a chance. mike
  3. I should be having mine mounted in a month or so, although it may not help you now... just depends on how soon you require the info. Regards, Mike
  4. Congrats Jon! Glad to hear that you were successful in keeping the car.. contents of the trailor sound good too
  5. Very Nice!! Have you had a chance to weigh the car in it's current form?
  6. WOW, thanks for the photos... Now, I will wait to see what Ross has to say regarding the breakage. Mike
  7. This is the first instance of someone breaking one of Ross' stubs (atleast to my knowledge). Keep us posted on the developments. BTW, I am still on the stock 280z stubs, but have considered going to the MM units. I am anxious to find out the results. Could you post some photos of the carnage when you get it disassembled? Thanks in advance, Mike
  8. You are not alone. Under normal driving, I don't have any issues, but after going to the track, I get a puddle from fluid coming out of the diff vent. I will be tapping the rear cover, and raising the vent using a fitting next week to see if the same thing occurs.
  9. If you can find one... HKS EVC EZ It has a power button and a knob to increase and decrease boost. It holds boost rock solid and high boost Supra folk swear by them . I have used a couple of them myself and have turned a couple of others onto them as well. They can be found on Ebay occasionally for $150-$250 Regards, Mike
  10. Welcome to Fla!! Love the car... mike
  11. The fuel pump may be limiting, as it may not deliver enough fuel pressure and volume at 15 psi. Boost alone at 15 psi, it may be fine, but when you are tapping the additional volume off, it may not be keeping up... Nice runs BTW
  12. Orlando here as well John, what can I do for ya?

    to much power maybe

I echo the remarks that the R200 should hold up fine. Now the u-joint axles... well I would suggest getting away from those and going to the 300zx turbo CV's and adaptor flanges from http://www.modern-motorsports.com You'll thank me if you just do it first, and just forget about trying to run the u-joint axles. regards, mike
  14. I have had a few people ask about my engine cradle... I have asked Mark at http://www.Mazworx.com to duplicate it, but since it is welded to the frame rails, he said that in order to get it to fit exact, he'd have to weld it in the car. Basically he'd need to build it there. Mike P.S. Good luck with the suit. It has been a LONG time.
  15. You may want to weld a couple of reinforcement braces across the width of the intake to keep it from bowing outward if you intend to throw any significant boost at it.... just something I have seen done to sheet metal intakes. Regards, mike
  16. Thanks for the kind remarks. Keep us posted on your progress. mike
  17. Sounds great!! That GT42 is not even in it's happy place yet
