  1. Loking good Terry, what are you planning to do with it once it is time to come back?
  2. Easiest would be to use the S30 trans, then you don't have to modify the tranny mount and can use the S30 driveshaft.
  3. 350rwhp is nothing to sneeze at. Remember every engine combo and dyno will read different. Depending on the amount of wet weather driving you will be doing in the car, you may want to try a pair of drag radials for the street. Laying black lines on the pavement is fun, when you are TRYING to do it...
  4. Perhaps worn tie rod ends and/or ball joints... If it is under braking, maybe the tension compression rod bushings..
  5. I'd also be weary of the rockers and lower doors.... common practice to paint them black to cover stuff...
  6. I must say, I was referred here by Scottie GNZ when I was looking for L28 turbo swap info... so it is all your fault that I have ths money pit!!!
  7. 26psi + methanol!! Whew, Garrett, look out!!
  8. Yep, I've been pulled over for "exhibition of speed" as well... The officer said, "I used to do stuff like that when I was younger, but I would make sure that no marked police cars were around first". He let me off with a warning...
  9. Wow Wayne, I'm surprised it hasn't sold yet... Anyway, good luck with the tranny and the sale. Regards, mike
  10. Have you verified that these fit the 70-71 240z? I seem to recall a question regarding it... Mike
  11. Hey Cyrus, Here is another site you may/may not be interested in... http://www.2jzpower.com/ It is a relatively new 2JZ swap board. BTW, car is looking awesome, and back together just in time to start enjoying it for the spring. Mike
  12. What he said... hood pins are your friend
  13. Congrats, I'd like to find my first Z again... silver 78 280z, last seen in Virginia 17 years ago, but it'll never happen... Good luck with your build, mike
  14. Amazing Rip!! Good talking with you the other night and thanks for posting pics!! I look forward to chatting w/ you again!!
  15. A couple of turbo blankets would help the underhood temps... Anyway, looking awesome!!
  16. Just roll the rear fender lips and that should take care of any tire rub you might get.
