  1. Scottie and I went to a private track rental on Sunday to spectate, as we knew Darin Dichiara (tuner from Titan Motorsports) was running his 6-speed Supra. Here was the timeslip of his only clean pass that we were there for... 60'-1.390 330-3.80 1/8-5.656 Mph-132 1000-7.23 1/4-8.550 Mph-171.5 video of the run - Many of you who frequent the Supra boards may have already seen this video. This is with a built 3-liter and a stock Supra 6-speed. It is a true full weight street car with power steering, working a/c, etc. To see it run in person was a treat... I see the potential....

There was one in Nissan Sport Mag (I think that was where I read the article)a couple of issues ago...
  3. Nice job Juan Will it be reay for DNI in March?
  4. I haven't had any tech issues in the 3 tracks I have run on regarding the IRS...
  5. looks like you are making good progress... keep it up
  6. I added a second nut to "double nut" the t/c rod after this happened to me..
  7. Very well done Welcome and thanks for posting!!
  8. Well, spoke with Gabriel and placed my order today. I explained that I was in a bit of a time crunch and was assured I would receive everything within 3 weeks, so I should have it installed for the DNI event. That'll be two of these setups within 40 miles between Rick and I... I too will be using the Armada R230 diff with a transplanted Z32TT R230 LSD and 2.94 gears...
  9. Sweet Gabe!! Can't wait to see it in person!
  10. No sweat, I was just curious to your background regarding Z's since you are new to the HybridZ scene and so familiar w/ SF's ... anyway, Welcome ... BTW, I'm not too fond of the Ebay links either...
  11. BurnMac42 ... Do you have, had or intend to have a Z car? (not that having one is a requirement) Just curious, as I gather from reading your posts that you are pretty Supra specific and refer to Supraforums quite a bit (not that there is anything wrong with that, as I spend a lot of time over there as well doing research), but much of the info you have supplied thus far hasn't really applied over here.
  12. Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. Woohoo!! It'll be a beast. I have heard quite a few people having good success with the BW turbos. mike
  14. The VLSD would require the VLSD axles (which they would not do). The CLSD and the open diffs use the same axles. To check and see if you have an LSD, jack up the rear of the car, and turn one of the rear wheels by hand. If the other wheel moves the same direction, then you have an LSD, if it moves opposite, then you have an open diff.
  15. I vote for one good size front mount single turbo... something in the GT42R flavor should do the trick
  16. Awesome Wayne!! Glad to see you are making progress!!
  17. I remember my old T-66 .58 P-trim on a stock L28 longblock was around 4200 for full boost. I kind of think about a turbo size as a large cam motor. With a big cam on an n/a car, you don't start making power until the high end of the RPM band... ofter 4200+ rpm's, same with a turbo of that size...
