  5. Good looking car Jon, can't wait to see it in March..... Hey Sparks a longer wheelbase means better control on the other end.......
  6. By the way what kind of fuel pump are you running? Also what size fuel line? Also what size filter at the rear of the gas tank? If it is a holley blue / red /black pump, it needs to be below the fuel tank / or should I say the fuel filter needs to be below the fuel tank in order to fill up with gas then the fuel pump below it some so it can be filled with gas then it should pump fine, sounds like to me it is having to prime itself all the time getting air into the system. You also need to be running at least 3/8 fuel line I would reccomend 1/2 inch. Hopefully your gas tank has a sump ? Just some idea's...... John

  10. We have always used a GM drive shaft, like one for a camero, need to have the correct front yoke for your tranny, then measure from the end of the transmission shaft to the center of the rear end u-joint flange. Tell the machinist how you measured. My brother Jerry uses a rear adpater that accepts the larger u-joints and fits the 4 hole flange of the rear end. Hopefully he will see this post and chime in with the part number. I think we pay around $55.00 to have one cut and balanced if we supply the parts. My brother Jerry gets a lot of favors done with machinist because he is a rep for a automobile parts supplier. John
  11. I have seen the primary seep gas when the float level is to high. Hopeflly you are adjusting the float level correctly. I have always removed the sight glass / brass plug. Cranked the engine and watch the fuel level. I always set mine a little blow the sight hole, then I press on the fender and some gas should trickle out. Adjust the fuel regulator to about 6 - 7 psi, then with a screwdriver and 5/8 wrench turn the float adjustment to achieve this setting, while loosen the top then turning the wrench. Adjust down for less gas and adjust up for more gas. You will need to keep the top snug while turning but not to tight. Hope this makes since. If the float level is set correctly and it contiunes to leak gas, then the needle seat is not sealing. Could be trash or bad needle seat. Hope this is some help. John
