  1. Make sure it's legit and has full documentation. Just a thought, maybe you can flip it and or JWT will buy it back then use the funds for another powerplant. Good Luck,
  2. Good I want to do the same thing.... Ideally I'd like to paint mine to match if possible. Glass or plexi on the hatch? Did you get the cowl too?
  3. Paul is correct, Nissan designed it so if the fuse blows at 10pm you won't be completely dark, its enough so you can still drive to get it repaired. Freaked me out the first time it happened to me.
  4. Wow sounds like you had an all around great experience with raceonusa.com Are you using the stock hinges or pinning them on? Oh yeah
  5. Clive, IMHO I would color match to the centers and have the letters "polish writing" like piston said. The polished wheel lips alone set it off! Looking awesome, do you have another set of 240z Euro taillights?
  6. Have you tried to bench bleed the master first? If not since it is mounted already unhook the lines on the side and poor fluid in the reservoir and let it come out of the sides (gravity feed) getting all the air out then re-attach the lines up and bleed normally starting from farthest away from the master. You can also take the lines off and have someone pump slowly while you put your finger over the hole to see if you are getting any suction on your finger. If not I would just buy a new master for gp sakes. Good Luck keep us posted.
  7. If that doesn't pan out you can try these: ~http://wheelchoice.com ask for Joji (this is where I got my first set from) ~http://datsunspirit.com/ Eiji Hosomi (this is where I got another set from) ~http://forums.club4ag.com/zerothread?id=57598 http://www.watanabewheel.com/
  8. Wow very nice!! It will be nice to see what the final numbers will be.
  9. Yasin, I did talk to Dave and he told me to write some articles on my projects and get them in. I just need to find the time. If they want to do a projects section that would add tons more content. I hope its not the sign of the times.
  10. Does anyone have this and using SDS to control it? If so how did you wire it in? I have the white wire and relay from them but need to know what else I need. I also have the harness for the fan plug and it is cut behind the pig tail. I just emailed SDS for clarification to see if the EM4-6F can even control a multi-speed fan. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,
  11. I spent 5 years in Japan back in the early 90's and I could pick up a set of used wild offset JDM wheels for a few hundred bucks. It was funny to see it grow in the states starting on the west coast and migrating east. Fast forward into the 2000's when the hype of the JDM craze was going strong, in 2004 I paid $2300 shipped for my 16x8.5 -6 with center caps, lugs and locks. Yeah it's a lot of money but living in Japan I wanted nothing else. Now if you look on RS-Watanabe's Japan webpage they have gone up around $80 each new from $500 to $580 (for 16"). Add the costs of finding someone reputable to order them from Japan, shipping and it is a pretty penny. However, to each is own. I completely agree, pros and cons from different points of view. Good info.
  12. George, Just do it man come join the club, get the lugs, locks and center caps too. BTW I will email you back tonight.
  13. Let me say that this is your opinion and I respect that. I am curious “overrated†how have you come to that conclusion? For those in the Japanese community and others like myself (in the States) that respect them for what they have done as a company and the history they have carved in stone among the racing community and the weekend tuner it speaks huge volumes with there styling and looks. Overpriced I don’t think that is a fair statement, general but not fair. We should then throw in every other wheel manufacturer foreign and domestic in the same boat. They are out of reach for some buyer’s yes, so others resort to the less expensive “knock-off†versions which is fine and their right. Unless you are looking for a tire size over a 265 then sure it will be limited. If you run a 225/xx, 245/xx, in a 16†you can find them all day long. In my opinion 13,14,15 are hard to find in some cases. You may or may not have noticed there are more and more people purchasing CCW's over RS Watanabe's. Don't get me wrong they are a very nice wheel and comparable in price to RS Watanabe's. I guess it all boils down to your budget and what style you are looking for. Period correct or not some people want to copy others and some want to have there own style and look. Just my two cents.
  14. Been there done that, then I bit the bullet. Also been there done that. The price is about the same. Flares on stock suspension with camber kits...NO it will hit the lower spring perch. For that size yes. I run 16x8.5 -6 all around with 225/50/16 w/ sectioned struts, GC springs and Tokico Illumina's, camber plates and NO flares. Any bigger you will need flares. Good luck,
  15. Better yet Joe and Clive need to make a PSA about it.
  16. Clive, Maybe you should POR-15 Black the inside of the wheel wells? If it was as red as the outside I would say leave it and hit it with some clear POR-15. Other than that simply stunning!! Can you say MEATS!!!
  17. Glad you all enjoyed it! So many of these are so damn true.
