  1. That is pretty cool!!! Definitely would save expensive dyno time!
  2. almost like now gone member On3go that was named mike...We won't go there though... polishing my cylinder head...HARD WORK!!!
  3. Let me tell you polishing a cylinder head is a ROYAL PAIN!!! I am doing that to a head of mine and the parts I have spent some time on look just as good as that head. Those rocker arm pivot bulges right above the spark plugs are really fun to get inbetween... NOT!!! that head was just a little bit of work...lol. Casting marks/imperfections are fun to get past as well...
  4. did you see the inline electric turbos on that last site? its a brake fan but I bet tat will boooost wit sum NAWZZ!!! J/K! That HRP world has some good prices on NACA ducts...
  5. Don't tell me you are unhappy with the camo!!! I was about to go buy some rattlecans this week...Maybe I'll focus the money toward an L28 block...
  6. this would be cool for a BOV vent through the hood... Edit* Maybe if it were half the size... it is pretty big. [/b]:;"] I have fast internet... and fingers...
  7. that is exactly what I want to build for my fender vents!!! and my brake ducts car close to this one but deeper:
  8. Isn't that what most of are saying?
  9. I have picture perfect that came with my casio camera too...lol I tried it once and was disgusted. I stick to WMM...
  10. yeah eppy... Sometimes I get lazy too...but just search and you will find what you search for...
  11. I was with the owners during this pic...I was legal got a rocket going off (another of my hobbies except I do big "G" powered ones).
  12. yeah...that would work... IIRC that is the size of the stock HY?? internal wastegate set at 30psi
  13. that is not a Z is it? s2000? Pretty cool lightening ideas...
  14. I am sure the wait will be plenty worth it...
  15. That is the way my Dad's Porsche 944 turbo is..It's a real pain sometimes. When I want to put my z on ramps I remove the air dam...there is no way it is clearing with 2" of ground clearance from the home depot lip...
  16. here is the best value: go on a diet and lose 30 LBS off your belly...I had my jaws wired shut for 4 weeks when I broke my jaw and I went from 160lbs to 140...And I am 6' tall...I actually NEED to gain weight back... You can lose 30Lbs buying a hatch for $250 or more or you can spend LESS than normal on food and lose that gut weight... Why do you never see 300Lb F1 drivers?
  17. wow!!! great idea there grumpy!!! my FRP (fiberglass reinforced plastic) ramps came with a little piece of rubber on the bottom and I haven't had a problem with them sliding yet.
  18. You can use one of those clear sparkplugs (are they called colortune?). and tune until you get a blue flame. I don't remember the band name but I read about them a while back.
  19. Do you have a 2d cad drawing of it? I could get some plasma cut out from a plasma table...then you drill your 4 holes and smooth out the cut marks (a little work with a file). Someone may have access to a waterjet or laser table which would be better.
  20. Yes that is one of the good reasons for a wind tunnel...That way you don't have a bunch of hacker fluid flow engineering HybridZers going around at night time with cameras and chase cars with yarn on them at 120+ doing "research"...lol
  21. I confirmed that a 440ci V8 will fit in a Z with 1/24 models... you can do the same thing with plastic models.
  22. Boy that looks nice and flat!!! I have seen dyno charts that were very steep very late. It averaged right below 200hp! that is really cool! 160 ponies right at 2500... That is some pretty good power!
  23. Good point. Garrett is running like 26 psi and 460 hp with a stock head and cam on a 3.0 bottom end...He could probably get another 75-100 ponies with a mild turbo cam and some head work.
