  1. That car looks increadible! You've done a great job on it!
  2. It must be vented in atleast some manner. It's my opinion that it needs to be plumbed to a catch can and then to the intake manifold. Lots of guys just put a breather filter on it and that may be an answer for you in the short term sence you not running the stock efi. The negative thing about the breather filter is that it will drip oil and make a mess of everything.
  3. You need to try and contact the guy through another source for the info. If you look at his status you can see that he is no longer part of the Hybrid Z clan.
  4. Good looking swap. So how does it run?
  5. Thermite is Cool! Well not really but, you get the idea.
  6. Is the whole show this one race? Or are there several races on it? I've watched about 1/3 of an episode so I don't remember how it all works.
  7. I hate to say it but, the round files sounds like the best option. It'll be slow but, atleast it woun't be messed up when your done. How much slotting are we talking about anyway? Also like Warren, was saying make sure it's got a handle on it! We don't ned any cool pics of the handle embedded into your hand. Ofcourse you already know that but, I thought I would state the obvious just incase someone else didn't yet.
  8. Can we get some more details about when it will show and on what channel.
  9. Very clean car! I like the colors on it.
  10. You just have to make sure that it doesn't leak at idle.
  11. You can pull the ignition switch off and remove the back part of it. This is the part where the wires are. There is a white piece that can be turned with a screwdriver. This what the key would normally be turning. It's not hard to figure out once you've gotten it apart.
  12. Thanks for the picture. I understand about Maaco paint. My Z right now has red that looks about like your purple. Seems like you get about 2 years of good shinny paint then it starts to fade.
  13. The car really looks good with the 18's on it. You mentioned that the adapters a re two piece. Do you have any pictures? Also, is it just me or does the car look like it has clear on some body panels and not on others?
  14. Try JC Whitney. They have bends and straight sections of tubing at good prices.
  15. Ok so I fianlly got everything moved into the new house. One of the first things I want to do is to hook up my compressor. You know before all the boxes are unpacked I need the comprssor hooked up. Anyway, the compressor has black, white and a green wire. At the old house I just hooked these up to a three wire dryer cord and went to town. The new house has a 4 pronged plug in the wall. I bought a new cord but, it has black, red, green and white. What do I do with the red wire?
  16. I've used my H.F. model for about 3 years of occasional use and it still works great. When it quits I'll throw it in the trash and get a new one and still be smiling.
  17. I know what ya mean about how many layers actually end up on the car. When I pulled mine out into the real light today I can see thin spots where I thought I had put on enough color. I wanted to redo some of it today But, I'm just to tired from the last few days of marathon paint prep and all the hassles with paperwork for the closing of the new house. Maybe Sunday, I can seek a little work into it.
  18. I turned out OK. I've got some runs and really should have done some test work on cardboard or something first. I'm going to sand some of it back down and reshoot certain parts.
  19. Agreed, that makes your elbow tingle then the part just quits if your lucky.
  20. I've been wanting to paint my Z for a few years now and have always had an interest in painting. I have an 87 Prelude SI that I bought several years ago that was always a second car to the Z. It needed paint and I thought this would be a great way to get some practice and skills before laying down the perfect paint for the Z. The perfect time came this week as we are moving out of a rent house and into our own new home (3 car garage) next week. I could get practice, make a mess in this garage, and have a painted daily driver all in one shot. I just finished laying down the paint and let me tell you that after about 24 hours of labor over the last few days I now have some major respect for painters and the buisness as a whole. Kudos to all the guys and gals that do a good job! You have my respect!
  21. I usally just see people picking thier nose:icon45:
